The days of the early 2000's JJ defenses are over.  You get that aggressive, you are going to have massive problems on the back end with the way passing works these days.  So I understand that we don't need all these highlight reel blitzes.  But the defense now has a reputation as the least blitzing team in the NFL.  And the results of allowing QB's to just hang out in the pocket are horrific.  Just do something different.

I know Hurts is inexperienced and some people who support him just want to see development. But theres no rookie QB who starts this consistently bad and actually becomes a good starter. If he was a 5th round pick, his opportunity to be a starting QB in the NFL would already be over. He is so far from being a starting QB, any progress he makes wont even bring him close to that level. 

Hurts is fine as a #2 where teams dont have a chance to game plan for him and he can make plays with his legs to save games. Its really beyond time to make the switch.

NVM we only ran it once with a RB 

Had to DVR and fast forward a bit. What was that effort by Quez on the INT? He literally slowed down and got out of the way. 

Our QB can't sit still in the pocket for more than 1 second.  Our defense encourages QBs to sit in the pocket and scan the field while they drop everyone back in coverage.

Surely the coaches can see that an NFL offense runs most efficiently and reliably from a comfortable pocket.  Maybe they should do something about that on both sides of the ball.
