Holding on every play or they weren’t taught the fundamentals. I thought his technique looked a little bad too.  Not as much into the pads and punch as one would like to see.  Early season rust.  When he is one his game, he is one of the best in the NFL.

I think you might have to take that to a past tense... I think he's starting to break down.   He's not what he was.   When he was younger... absolutely.   NFC East used to have 3 studs at LT.  Peters, Smith and Williams.

The injuries have taken their toll, especially the back. He's living off his reputation for now, getting away with holding because of his reputation. It won't last.

While he has a lot of mileage, he is 30.  A bit early to call if it is past tense yet with him as I see it.

It's not surprising but it is a bit discouraging. Epps is a deep only guy. Harris is similar. I don't see Wallace being ready after missing so much time during TC. The D-line will really need to make an impact because I'm not sure who we have that they can realistically line up on Pitts. Ridley is going to get his, and Gage is an under the radar weapon for them. Add on I expect plenty of Mike Davis to wear everyone down against a team that has barely had any live tackling all offseason and have been trained to punch the ball out first... it could get really sloppy.

It amazes me the giants consistently just can’t fix their oline and at least get to average. Also amazes me they were sitting at 20 with one of the worst olines in the league and darrisaw starring them in the face. They decided a WR over oline where the oline was a huge need. I’d argue darrisaw was a better prospect and at a position of need. But they decided on Toney was the better play even though they just signed Golladay and have slayton and Shepard.

Meh, I think he is just making sure he didn't miss anything and reassuring himself. I like that he doesn't think it's above him to reach out for some help

I always thought grabbing the jersey between the shoulders was always one of those things Refs never call. I just hate when the hook arm never gets called he was doing that all game too and only got called once.

That's what I mean though. Not bring in guys to help design an offense or play calling, just have someone experienced whose been there done that to help get him through the week and the behind the scenes preparation.

Agreed... except, the back thing seems to be a constant flair up, and when your back is bad, it doesn't matter how old you are.  You just aren't the same person any more... trust me.

I didn't expect that they'd even be on the roster for Week 1, but rather stay on PUP.  Not sure why they felt the need to activate them so quick, especially given the fact that they could have saved 2 roster spots by keeping them on PUP and use that time to kick the tires on a few more young players.   I just don't get it.  

Sucks McLeod is out but it will be nice to see if Wallace has taken a step forward. Gotta see what we have in the young guys eventually.

Inside the shoulders, yes.  But last night, I thought I saw him consistently grabbing the outside of the shoulders.  Not surprising as his arms were wide as he was setting up, so the easiest place to grab is outside, not inside.
