Jalen needs to stop escaping the pocket.

I don’t know if he is the guy going into the future with the Eagles that gets them to where they want to be. But I will bet anything that Jeffrey lure looks at this team right now and says if we had a better quarterback in the San Francisco 49ers game and a better quarterback in the Tampa Bay game we could be sitting at 4-2 instead of 2-4. And they’d look completely differently at this current team. This is why I’ve said since the off-season that Jeffrey lurie is the type of owner that would try to make a move to get someone like Deshaun Watson or Russell Wilson if they became available. Because I think they viewed as they need a quarterback in order to have the utmost success. And these type of losses to SF and TB they’ll convince themselves they could’ve won with a better QB

I think Howie will be looking out for himself and will be pushing Lurie to let him go, because Howie's reputation will be based on how well these players do and if they aren't doing well under Sirianni, it will make Howie look bad.

With a serviceable QB we win that game.

I bet you Lurie has not been happy with any game this year, including the Falcons game. He wants a downfield passing game, not a dink and dunk attack.

It blows my mind that people can't tell how bad Hurts is. It makes every football take they ever come up with now irrelevant.

Will always love Ertz.

Trade both him and Goedert. I think I agree with some of you; an expensive TE is a luxury. Get the draft capital if you can.

They are both FAs after this season.  Agree, an expensive TE is a luxury and with our ishy cap situation and the fact we're just beginning a rebuild if we can get draft picks for both (even if they are 2023) I'd be fine with that and rolling with Stoll and Manu's boy since we don't use our TEs that much in the pass game anyway.  Too bad Jackson got hurt and isn't getting reps right now, but he's in the mix for the future as well.

Roob is 100 percent correct.

Reub is just mad he can't come up with any ridiculous stats to make Hurts look good right now.

Players are open.  Hurts is not good.

With that being said, Sirianni is not inspiring much at all in terms of an play caller on offense.

He throws a bad pass or runs, and his second read is wide open

Imagine being this fragile

I don’t think so. I think Howie is fine being the general manager here because I think he has a long leash. Lurie is going to make him go get a quarterback if this continues. I firmly believe howie and Jeff will sit there and say if we had a better quarterback this team isn’t as far off as we think (BS by them). I guarantee that is something you hear this off-season that we were close in a couple games if we got better quarterback play we would’ve won them and the season goes differently.

Hurts is bad presnap and slow/late postsnap. He bails the pocket early and too often. His accuracy would be passable if he didn’t have the first 3 problems.

And his problems are highlighted even more because Sirianni has him drop back about 50x a game. It looks like Sirianni is trying to find out if Hurts can throw the ball 35+ times a game and improve at the top 3 problems.

Maybe he could use a marker to come up with some different running plays, they are becoming as bad as the screen plays the Entire NFL knows the Eagles use.

I was watching the Scouts feed audio instead of Troy and Buck. They kept saying how predictable Hurts is at just rolling to his right even when the pocket is good. They kept saying he bails too much

Kenny Gainwell had one touch tonight. Zero carries, one reception for one yard.

Defense stood up a few times. 28 points is the best you gonna do against that team with Brady.

Stat from Sheil:

Eagles had 5 first downs in the first half through 6 games this season.

Only the Jets have as few.

Of course he’s been bad, but he definitely isn’t being put in the best position to succeed. These things aren’t mutually exclusive.

The sky isn’t falling, it already fell when Howie misplayed talent retention and acquisition.  Maybe now he understands the value of a good linebacker. But to start concluding that Sirianni and Gannon are bad six games into a brutal part of the schedule is absurd. Did anyone really think the Eagles would be better than 2-4 six games in?  So from a future perspective, Sweat looks pretty good.  Milton Williams has been impressive. And vets Hargrave and Slay are performing.   Smith looks like the real deal and Watkins was a hit.  Gainwell is at least a decent gadget. Mailata has stepped up.  We are getting reps for Dillard, Dickerson and Driscoll.   Heck, Boobie actually hit a few holes tonight.  Abysmal play overall but pretty much where I figured we would be at this stage.

Did anyone catch Sisposs’s catch of that bad snap on the second extra point and quick placement. Makes me curious to go back and watch the Elliott miss.  Also makes me wonder about the two point conversion decision.

This is on Siri as much as Hurts. Why why why are you pass happy and ignore the run with a below average passer for QB?

I disagree that those are breathers. They’re easier plays, but an actual handoff is a breather.

Sorry I had that stat wrong. It's in 3 of the 6 games they had 5 first downs or fewer in the first half.
