I don't know that he said that with that in mind... but I think its beautiful just the same.

I dunno what I want with this team... I just want Howie fired.   I would love to see the young guys develop, but the fact that every one that does builds even a small defense for Howie to remain hurts.  Howie created this mess, but sits in his chair and there's an A/C unit blowing on it to make sure it doesn't get too hot.

I think fortunate by it could’ve gotten really ugly for the players and fans in that stadium. Unfortunate for us who want howie gone cause if they would’ve gotten beat down and it’s consistent against the better team it likely helps with getting howie gone.

The reporters perfectly framed the question for that response. And I do think they absolutely had it in mind in regards to Simmons.

We don’t have to worry about the cowboys winning a SB. They aren’t that good.

Hurts looks lost a bit, but he never gives up, mental toughness does matter.

Lawrence, Wilson and Fields. Mac Jones is the best looking of the rookie QBs, but still well out of the top 20.

Let’s talk about player evaluation.   Why did Williams and Peppers see so few reps yesterday?   Why did Gainwell see his reps decrease?  

Hurts doesn’t look lost, he is reverting to the bad habits and displaying gaps in talent that got him benched in Alabama and made him a third tier QB in the draft.  Let me give one example.  I think it was in the second.  On a screen, Brady was throwing as soon as he caught the snap.  In contrast, a screen to Sanders in the same quarter, the DB covering the WR literally had the screen read and was on Sanders before Hurts pulled the trigger.  Hurts needs to read much faster and at 10 games, if we are going to see that, it should be showing now.  Sirianni as much as said that last night when he talked about running the plays versus playground ball.  Is this an overreaction or just seeing what is obviously happening?  I have said since before he was drafted that what worries me most about Hurts is his speed to read.

Team will suck until Howie is gone and we hire a real head coach. Arguing over mediocre QBs like Hurts or Minshew is hilarious when it doesn’t matter until Howie is gone and we have a real NFL head coach.
