Aren’t you guys being a little harsh? If that’s not Tom Brady it’s probably an interception. He threw a beautiful pass. If that’s Hurts/Wentz it’s definitely an interception.

Clueless sheep.  Bahhh bahhh bahhh.

I am not saying I have faith in Siri, but, there is open receivers quite a bit.  On the missed throw to Reagor on the second drive, Miles was open in the flat immediately.

Later in the first half, there was a 2 man stack route on the left, and one of the guys broke open when they split at 10 yards.  Hurst had already dumped it off in the flat.

Not saying Siriani is Sean McVay, but there is guys open.

Yeah i hated that argument i saw on Twitter from people. Just cause you had success running later in the game doesn’t mean at the start you would’ve. First the Bucs likely took their foot off the gas when they got up 21 points. Secondly later on the game they likely were worn out more playing on a Thursday’s and 3rd game in 11 days. Much more fresh at the start of the game then the end of the game. Also I’d have to go back and watch but felt the Bucs were trying to prevent the big play down the field and a fast score so weren’t expecting the eagles to remotely run being down double digits with under 15 mins left

Maybe...but when your QB is missing his targets, running all over the place (many times without that much pressure or the pocket collapsing) you need to settle him down...so yes, even if they only had a few yards per run, running the ball more would have likely kept Tampa's defense honest and could have settled Hurts down some.  That's the reason you run the ball when your QB is out of control.   Not to mention you would have 2nd and 8 or 3rd and 6 situations vs 2nd and 12 or 3rd and 15 etc etc etc

No.  I'd have treated it with some credibility if he'd spent one second to acknowledge the QB is playing badly.  Defaulting to a stance that the offense is bad because the coaches are bad doesn't hold water.  If the Eagles had an experienced QB with some track record of success struggling badly in the offense, I would default blame to Sirianni.

The fact is, a lot of time the players deficiencies make the coaches look dumb.

He's right in that the offense is 100% 1 dimensional and by the time the game is out of hand and the other teams let up that's when the Eagles make up some ground, creating a false notion that the offense played well.  It just so happened that they were able to beat the Panthers but not TB.

I agree that we have no idea what this offense would do with an experienced QB.  The tape is out there, Hurts is bailing out of the pocket for no reason, taking his eyes of the WR and not seeing wide open players.  That doesn't make up for the complete lack of a running game though.

Wow that’s an amazing stat

I hope (and think) Ertz could light it up for them...and if he does, watch out...the Cardinals could become the team to beat.

I am not sure, but I see Hurts doing checks at the LOS.  We don't know how many run plays he is checking out of.  Or RPOs that should have been handed off.

I suspect that the symptom of not seeing receivers is also showing up as not understanding what he sees before and just after the snap.

You can say it’ll settle him down but i don’t think his issues are a settle him down type thing. These are some of the issues he had coming out of college. Unless you get a QB whisper like daboll did with Josh Allen I’m not sure you fix these problems.

Man watching the condensed highlights and Singleton was soooo bad. Getting run over, stiff armed to the ground, just bouncing off guys trying to tackle. Gross.

Arians to Fournette, "Look for 49 and run directly into him.  He'll add three yards to your gain every time."

That was absolutely awful.  The worst part is that he saw the ball coming from a mile away and instead of (literally) taking 2 steps back and intercepting the lob (ball looked like a grade school lob pass as long as it was in the air) he decides to jump 6 inches in the air.  Like seriously, dude?

The jazz used to have a center Greg Ostertag, he was 7'1" could barely dunk, tiny hands as well, we used to always joke that if you slid a piece of paper under his jump he wouldn't clear it, that's what this kerrigan pic reminds me of.

I mean come on dude maybe if one can no longer jump over a paper bag maybe one should just retire, he's been useless this year, bad signing by Howie.

That's fair.  There were a couple of Seth's points I agreed with -- firstly, they have to get Hurts under center at least some of the time.  If I'm a RB I hate shotgun because I'm just standing there waiting to get handed the ball while the defense keys on me.  QB under center gives the RB a start towards the LOS when accepting the handoff, and makes play action much more effective and harder to diagnose for the defense.

Howard abused him frequently as well

Living out here watching them closely I’m skeptical of their secondary. I thought that was a bigger need than their TE position. Don’t get me wrong ertz with those guys is hell of a receiving group. But when your starting corners are bryon Murphy (64 by pff) and Robert Alford (69.9) i think it’ll eventually catch up. And really those grades are generous cause trey lance couldn’t throw last week and they faced the jags.

Meh, some of those calls were highly questionable, imo.  I mean, come on, there's contact on just about every pass play in the NFL between WR's and DB's....how many times have our WR's been absolutely groped this year with no calls?  How many scores could have those "no calls" led to?

There's a coaching issue when you make the same mistakes repeatedly.

I'm 99% sure Hurts has been checking out of runs into passing plays the vast majority of times because the guy is an ultra competitor and wants the ball in his hands.  That said, it hasn't worked...not even close during the Dallas game and not even close last night.  So as a head coach, don't you need to adjust that?  Talk to him, tell him that he doesn't need to "do it all" and that if he sees a running play, he needs to give the ball to the RB.  If I'm Sirianni, that's the talk I would have with him.

yet he leads the NFL in tackles.  What a terribly misleading stat.  He was thrown around like a ragdoll last night.  He's so bad.

Yup I havent watched the game just those same highlights and Everytime Fournette caught the ball he'd carry singleton for 3 or 4 extra yards, tough to watch.

Fournette is a tough runner but come on.👎

New drinking game, Is Singleton going to tackle the ball carrier or go for a piggy back ride.

So success running the ball in the fourth quarter when the Bucs are protecting a lead is an indication that running on the Bucs would have been possible early in the game?

Situational awareness... where was Vea during those late runs?

Also on Hurts second TD at the end of the third, there was some real off body language. Reagor throws up his hands half away up for TD for a split second before just walking back to the sideline. Smith just stands there with his arms to the side and doesn't react in any way. Probably reading too much into this, but both just seemed lifeless.

At this point in his career he looks like Yao Ming running up and down the court. I'll be surprised if he goes over 100.

Meh eagles staring corners when they won the super bowl were jalen Mills, rasul Douglas, and Ronald Darby.

P Rob was solid in the slot but the outside corners were under whelming.

I think Arizona will be ok.

Is that the one that he threw the ball at the wall and looked all pissed off, like he wasn't the one playing bad.
