Chargers went for a 4th and short from their OWN 19 mid 3rd quarter. That's insane.

What I'm trying to understand is doing it in shotgun. WTF??

What was the white stuff all over Brady’s arm last game?  Forgot to ask that

He’s 1-4 and playing, potentially, the worst team in the nfl.

Now, granted, just by being the average qb that he is….is a completely different qb from the one who played on the Eagles last year.

I haven't been following the Colts closely, but last week they blew a big lead to the Ravens, one of the best teams. That loss wasn't on Wentz who had a great game. Wentz is heating up, and making throws Hurts can't.

Tampa ruined KC , with the ass whooping they put on them in the super bowl , never been the same .

I'm sick of teams running out of the shotgun on short yardage. I wish more teams ran plays from under center in general, especially the Eagles.

I was thinking something to help with gripping the ball since he had his thumb taped up.

Lot of OL holding penalties around the league not getting called , KC holding WFT over and over

I don't understand Sirianni's partial compensation for Hurts.  There are 2 options here:

1.  Run your offense.  Screw Hurts.  Pass, pass, pass.  Let him drop back, full progressions, throw INT's left and right, whatever.  But implement your offense, let everyone see how poorly Hurts can handle it, stand up to the "run the ball" criticism, and then have the balls to stand up to Lowie and put Minshew/Flacco in there to run your offense.

2.  Make every compromise and adaptation to win with Hurts.  1 read passing plays at the LOS (we are doing this)...but then go run-heavy with Sanders and Gainwell.  Give Hurts designed runs too.  Repulsive offense, but the best way to compete with Hurts under center.

Do one.  Or do the other.  From a coaching perspective, I can respect either decision.  Instead, we get this worst of both worlds compromise where the called passes are HS level pre-digested baby food for a bad QB...but there are no called runs to take the pressure off said bad QB.

I’ve been banging the table for option 1 now for a few weeks.

Catering your offense to Hurts only hampers the development of the rest of the team.

If you’re ultimately wanting to run YOUR offense, then that needs to happen now. If Hurts can’t do it, then try the next man up.

Fields might end up with less yards then hurts today.

Yeah, that first drive was impressive.  Since then, not so much.

Hes an Ohio State QB, its only a matter of time till hes out of the league or moved to WR.

Exactly why I didnt want him.

Good lord mills is terrible

So jealous of the Ravens running game. It’s the only offense I can see Jalen Hurts being successful in.

Ohio state and the bears, two teams that have never had a good qb in the nfl

Charles Davis is the worst , so hard to listen to .

Hurts ideal situation would be to follow Lamar around and be his backup for his career. Hurts is a dollar store version of Lamar, and then there’s an additional 50% off sale too

Fields has plenty of potential

I had this thought earlier in the week

Not with Nagy unfortunately

That no look pass by Stafford was really cool. Never saw that before.

He’ll suck (kinda already does)

Sure as a running back, maybe a WR.

Bears got screwed on a phantom holding call.   Called back a TD too.
