Tim Patrick will probably be out of our price range, but it would be nice to add a receiver with size who can play.

So for draft pick order for next season, here are the teams (besides us) who should be in the running for worst records to end this season with:

DET, JAX, NYJ, NYG, HOU, MIA, ATL, and DEN.

DEN is 3-2, but their 3 wins were vs JAX, NYG, and NYJ.  Looking at their schedule they could end up only winning 6 games.

MIA has winnable games at home:  ATL, CAR, NYJ, NYG, and NE.  They also have NYJ away.

Perfect scenario is Colts are 6-7, but only 2 games behind the Titans at most at that point then finish the season 7-10 with Wentz over 75% of snaps.  We end up with 1 top 5 pick (most likely either 4 or 5 from either MIA or our own), another pick in the 7-10 range and the Colts pick being around 12-14.  Too early to predict how the draft falls, but another ideal scenario is we trade back enough spots with the Colts pick and acquire a 2nd 2023 1st Round pick.

First 2 picks should be the highest rated D players on the board.  Better come away with 2 out of CB/S/DE/DT.  My preference would be for S and DE all things being equal.

Cowboy have a top offense , and a top QB
not a fan of their D currently

they will be one of a few teams who will be losing their OC to HCing job

Way out of our price range.

No idea why the Colts kept in Wentz for these late handoffs in garbage time, but thanks, Frank.

Most likely also out of our price range.

The Colts sure as hell should. The game was over. Wentz is injury prone. They had all the reason to sit him late, especially since he’s playing through two ankle injuries.

That is the part that should have caused him to sit for the end of the game.

Minnesota's win helps.  Also, Cincinnati's win improves Jacksonville's SOS.

3 picks in the top 10 would be beautiful

I just wish we had a new GM to use those

I would bet the house on us taking DeMarvin Leal (DT, Texas A&M).

I'd be fine with that

STOP THE COUNT!!!

Howie gonna trade those picks down the toilet

Pats up early 14-7 on the Cowgirls.  NE needs to get Jones better WRs.

Cards with an early 17-0 on the Browns.  Wondering how Ertz helps them on O.  They've drafted a nice D out in the desert.

Howie should tank the Lions game. If the order stays the same through next week a loss to the Lions will put us in the drivers seat for #1 overall.

I guarantee that in 7 days, after the Raiders game, we will start seeing posts suggesting we throw the game against the Lions to improve the Dolphins' pick.

No way man

Rooting for Belicheat here over  Dallass is like rooting for gonorrhea over Herpes. Ones slightly less horrible.

Wilson and Gallup both UFA coming up.  Wouldn't mind signing either one.

I doubt that happens CE.

I've never had either to make that call. So what's it like?

Dunno. I just know treating it.  Gonorrhea you take some pills and that's it. Herpes though is for life.

Honestly Howie would have to try to screw up 3 top 10 picks. The top10 are usually total no brainers
