Miami also coming off a long trip to London without a bye week. That is brutal. Especially when their season is likely going down the drain. I could see atlanta smoke them in this game. Going to see a lot of character revealed for the dolphins in this game. If they have no energy or fight for this game against atlanta (winnable game) then it’s going to get really ugly.

I thought the London teams were guaranteed byes? That's insane they have play again Sunday....

Lol suspending him for only one game

Hopefully the can keep money again due to conduct detrimental to the team. That would be hilarious if he ran back to the team just to try to save his money and they found a way to keep taking it.

"RYAN CLARK: I do believe in Jalen Hurts, but here's the problem: the Philadelphia Eagles are going to ruin Jalen Hurts. He's accounted for 85 percent of the offense this year, both in the run and in the pass. [Thursday] night, you called nine total runs for running backs. Nick Sirianni can't believe that this is the way to bring along a young QB. It's only been 10 games into him starting.

"Is he Justin Herbert? No. Is he Joe Burrow? No. But those guys were picked sixth overall and one overall, those guys have some wide receivers with some experience, some players on the outside we've seen make plays in this league before. The Philadelphia Eagles have none of those things. Jalen Hurts doesn't have any of those things. Jalen Hurts has a first-year head coach who's supposed to be this great playcaller, who isn't calling plays in that manner right now.

"When I look at Jalen Hurts and what he *has* been able to do, some of the statistics he *has* been able to produce, and the leadership qualities that this dude has? I believe in him."

When you run an RPO offense, who makes the decision if the RB gets the ball ????

Probably thought easy victory of the jags was like a bye week… but not so fast my friend!

Another reason why I wanted Surtain over him,  injuries to corners in college usually don’t get better in the NFL, and he’s not a future FS, like Surtain could be.

But wow was I loser when it comes to Jamarr  Chase and the Bengals taking him over Sewell, sheesh. Sewell out there looking like Luke Joeckel, ugh and Chase is really good.  I guess it wasn’t just Burrow having a crazy good year at LSU.

Seriously??? You don't think that's been gone over many times in meetings during the week, and practices? 1 in game timeout is the magic bullet to solve the issue? Come on...

I know that Hurts didn't call an audible and that Sirianni didn't call a timeout.  Beyond that, I am speculating about what has occurred in practices and in meetings except to the extent that the practices and meetings don't seem to work.  If they are going over it in practice and meetings, you have to wonder how and why it's not working in games.  You also have to wonder about a coach who would rely on a QB for 75% of the offense when that QB cannot call an audible based on a look.

They thought because of 17 games this year the strategic advantage was a bye later in the year so they gave them Week 14. These mf'ers thought they were going to the playoffs lol

The coach calling and RPO is giving the decision to the QB.  Maybe that's not a good idea.

We have a QB who can not handle playing that position in the NFL. Its really as simple as that. And some people in here have suggested that the solution should actually be to take a time out in the middle of the game to try coaching that player up. When TOs are limited, and far to valuable to waste on that when that is what practice, and entire offseasons are for.

You keep throwing because you have an offensive system that all other 10 starters needed to learn, and need more experience in to become comfortable, and build on/add wrinkles in future years. You know you have this QB on a tryout basis and he needs to prove himself in an NFL offense. Not in a coddled offense- that wont tell you anything. Continuing to throw gives you answers. And also, the run/pass balance wouldnt be so lopsided if the QB was capable of making proper reads on many of those RPOs.

Ben Wasn’t just suspended he was kicked out of practice for not engaging….This whole thing is an absolute mess.

Ben Simmons left practice and went to Deliliahs at noon.

Anyone in Philly, stop what you're doing and go to a strip club to boo him.

That says "contact" I wonder if it means with unvaccinated people.

Its allowing a QB to provide enough data on whether or not he can handle the job. So far the answer is no. And while that sucks to watch as our team flounders, it helps absolutely no one at all, long term if we just start running the ball to hide and protect our horrible QB.

Its conduct. Doc asked him to participate in a defensive drill. He declined. Doc asked again and Ben said no. So doc told him he should go home. Simmons dropped the ball and walked out.

Embiid also said he’s not here to baby sit. Ben is clearly acting like a child. Only

Showed  up to not lose his money. My guess Ben shows up next practice and mysteriously get an "injury”

The responsibility is on the HC to call actual running plays without the option to pass or Jalen keeping when no actual runs are resulting from these RPOs.
