Ben Simmons left practice and went to Deliliahs at noon.

Anyone in Philly, stop what you're doing and go to a strip club to boo him.

Don't worry he left quickly. Someone gave him a shot and he had to pass

I don't watch the NBA like I used to.  For me it's like baseball, wake me when the playoffs start.

But why are the Sixers keeping this pile of **** around?  Just be done with him.  Can't they just send him to the Magic or Pelicans for a 2nd or something?  He isn't worth anything anyway.

Their GM is still under the delusion that he can get "Superstar" value for him.

Ryan Clark probably still thinks Cam Newton can take a team to the playoffs.

There are some poeple I never pay any attention to what they say , dont care about their opinions.

I had seen enough of his opinions to  place him solidly on the list of "dont care what he has to say, he is clueless".

I’m sure the cap ramifications don’t make sense but perhaps the Ravens situation is a chance to unload Lane. Could be good for him to get a little change in scenery. If his head is on right they may overpay having super bowl aspirations.

Villanueva is better on the left side anyway.

But again I’m sure the cap situation and his mental struggles make this very, very unlikely.

I mean you can say that about 95% of ESPN.

hard to tell with a lot of the experts around here.

I'm pretty sure the Ravens have been playing most of the year without Stanley. As good as he is, they've been alright without him. I don't think they're desperate to replace him.

Didn't they just give him a big contract and now he can't stay healthy.

Not going to lie, my pettiness of watching him squander away millions of dollars on his next contract if he rots on the bench and is unhappy being here seems pretty enticing. Lol

who watches ESPN?  The only time I turn that station on is for the games they have on. NEVER ANY COMMENTARY. NONE.

Lane hasn't played like Lane in quite awhile.  It's a move I would make if it were possible this season.  Free up some space for 2022 and 2023.

That is not what I asked you.  We are running an RPO offense.  The decision of run or pass on those plays falls strictly on Jalen Hurts.

No it doesn't.  Jalen Hurts isn't the HC.  He isn't the OC.  He isn't calling the plays.  If the RPO that Sirianni is calling isn't resulting in runs to the RB actually occurring then it is 100% in the HC to call running plays where there is no option for a pass or QB keep. The fact that we have handed the ball off the RB as little as we have is a failure that falls on the HC. Line up under center and call some running plays. Set up the play action.

Sometimes I turn it on late night trying to watch highlights.  Usually it's SVP who is on and he's OK.  Doesn't take himself too seriously.

Basically what the sixers are going to do with all those fines from simmons

Jalen Hurts does not have the skill set to line up under center and run play action.  He is slow diagnosing and releasing the ball from the shotgun, now you want him to play action with his back to the defense and then figure out where to go with the ball.  Horrible idea.

The bolded assumes that our QB1 has the capability to run a conventional style offense. to which I would say not likely with what I have witnessed so far.

Now you can blame the HC for sticking with said QB, and you might be right, but my quess is he was told Hurts (barring injury) was the starting QB for this season by the Front office.

If I'm not mistaken, that was at the point in the game where the Bucs were in 'we don't care' mode and were just giving up yards on the ground hoping to run the clock out quicker.   They gave up the TD and the 2 point, and their O had to go back out there and run out the clock, which they did.   I just don't think that the Bucs were emotionally invested at that point.

I think Dillard stinks and while Lane obviously has less days ahead of him than Dillard, Dillard isn't the long-term answer. At least with Lane you get elite OT play while he's playing.

Dillard has come in and really not played poorly.  I think he did OK against Barrett except for the one time when he missed the snap and then the other time Barrett got around him.  Those types of issues are going to occur.  He's been relatively competent as a starter.

I like Devin White, but that's pretty soft.

Also, Kelce hasn't been the best C in football for a while.

I'm going to go ahead and disagree on that.  Being the best center in football entails more than just blocking assignments.  You could make an argument for another center, but there hasn't been a center better than him over the course of his career.  He's been the steady constant on this OL since 2012.  During that time, no center has been more consistent or as good as him.  I'd also point out that no other team asks as much from their center as the Eagles do.

Anyone notice Wentz has been playing better these last few games and they've been running the ball really well too?  Coincidence?

Nope.  A strong running game is a QB's best friend.  It makes everything easier.
