Nope.  A strong running game is a QB's best friend.  It makes everything easier.

and yet we have a front office who hires coaches who like a very high Pass to run ratio.  For the 2 past decades this has been true.

🤦‍♂️.  This 'drama' needs to end.

Ben Simmons left practice and went to Deliliahs at noon.

Anyone in Philly, stop what you're doing and go to a strip club to boo him.

Seriously?

There's some F bombs in there

He is to slow processing.  Once Reagor was even with the corner the ball should have been out.

Its conduct. Doc asked him to participate in a defensive drill. He declined. Doc asked again and Ben said no. So doc told him he should go home. Simmons dropped the ball and walked out.

Again... seriously???

He needs to go immediately, his presence in itself is detrimental to the team.

It's been dead.  Note sure why he's always compared to those 3, rather than Burrow, Herbert and Tua (not that you can compare him to Tua... cause he's still hurt)?

This idea that Hurts is a "rookie" is flat garbage and that narrative needs to go away.

I have seen enough of this type of plays, to know our Wr's can play and get open, what we have is an issue with the person distributing the ball.

And the longer he remains the QB1, the more convinced I am of 1 of  these things are true:

1) Our FO really believes in Hurts and is giving him every chance (meaning they are clueless)

or

2) We know without a doubt he sucks and are keeping him in so we can raise our draft status. (remember pulling Hurts for Sudfeld in the last game???)  LOL

Again, last week Smith had his hand up before he blew past 2 defenders and Hurts still threw it late and missed him.

Cant be a rookie since he played last year, had an entire offseason as the QB1 to get ready.

Wentz started his 1st year as a Rookie and was light years ahead of where Hurts is today in his second season.

I think Howie is thinking in terms of the 2nd round investment and wants to see him get most of the season to see if he develops

Number 2 could also play a factor.

Man Reagor may have ran himself out of bounds before catching it if the ball was thrown properly.

Also plays like this are why you cannot trust the stats on Hurts. Sure they may look decent but he fails the eye test horribly.

How can you evaluate Sirianni if you keep putting Hurts out there and see no improvement? I think Sirianni has his share of the blame with play calling, but is this what his offense is supposed to look like or is the QB not executing it correctly.

I don't think Hurts has the skills to play QB in the NFL, and I'd like to see Minshew or even Flacco back there to see if the offense is any more productive. We are 1/3rd through the season and this team has no identity.

This just seems like such a wasted year. Should have fired Howie and cleared house this past offseason.

Until we fire Howie and get a real GM and Head-coach it will always be the same just look a little different.

#1 thing that is clear watching this entire video, Jalen Hurts never, not once, goes to a second read.

So we are 18th in DVOA per Football Outsiders.  (Offense - 18th, Defense - 18th, STs - 15th)

8 out of our remaining 11 games are against teams worse than us using this metric.  The Chargers are just above us.  Dallas and NO are in the top 10.

Evander Kane has been suspended 21 games by the NHL for COVID violations.

My brother tells me a story about encountering Kane and his brother on a golf course in British Columbia a couple of years ago.  Apparently they were acting like knobs, and his brother is even more of a scumbag than he is.  There was a 3rd guy with them -- huge guy who was a bodyguard-type; according to the story this guy was the voice of reason and had to diffuse the situation.

What a job -- having to babysit adults with too much money to act like grown ups.

Dillard has come in and really not played poorly.  I think he did OK against Barrett except for the one time when he missed the snap and then the other time Barrett got around him.  Those types of issues are going to occur.  He's been relatively competent as a starter.

I don't think he's played poorly either. Not exactly a high bar to set though. I don't think he's anything special and at that position, you want the best you can get. Would still trade him for what you can get, you can do a lot better than Dillard.

Yep. You can't have someone who has blown that many picks still making the picks and as others have said Lurie is the problem. Even Jerry Jones got out of the way and let his son take over.

It's amazing they put in levels concepts so the second read is in the same field of vision and he still doesn't see it

I'd be happy right now to ship Ben off to the city that will piss him off the most, and be happy to get nothing of value in return.  Indianapolis?  OK City?  Portland?

Shame there's no basketball team in Columbus, OH.   He'd love it there.
