I was actually going to post the same thing. I trust McClain but I don’t trust the Texans not to leak that to him and try to get the value up on Watson before the trade deadline and make the move. Based off what I could find on Twitter most of the Dolphins beat reporters aren’t the one saying this trade is close or could happen this week it’s been him and a lot of Texans beat writers. Which kind of feels like the Texans wanted of this out there to try to get another team involved and increase the value

Well for starters the league leading tackler Alex Singleton. Then we can throw in a first round talent like Reagor. Hurts is from Houston so throw him in. He’s going to need JJAW to block for all his bubble screens, so add him. Add Hassan Ridgeway as the prototypical D-linemen fans overate in trade value. Then put in a conditional 2nd if Hurts completes 20 passes between the hashes for the next 11 games it becomes a first.

The Colts 2022 pick and a 2023 1st

BUT..... If he is suspended more than 10 games at ANY time after the trade, be it this year, 2022, 2023, etc.... , the Texans have to give Philly their next available 1st round pick. So even if his legal issues result in a 10+ game suspension during the 2022 season, we get their 2023 1st, or essentially our own 2023 back.

A 1st if he can play right away without any issues.

If he's going to be suspended or some other BS then a 3rd.  

Otherwise, no thanks.  A team would be stupid to give up multiple 1sts and more.
