September 11, 20214 yr If Jordan even plays average, this contract will look good. I thought he'd get more TBH.

He is better than La'el Collins who was drafted in the first round. In retrospect, I'm surprised a team didn't draft Mialata higher with his size and athleticism. 5th rounders usually miss and his traits should've had him drafted around there instead of in the 7th.
September 11, 20214 yr It's a gamble like all contracts, but if Mailata keeps improving (and with Stoutland as OL coach, that's a good bet) he might be worth $20M a year by the time the contract kicks in. Look what Trent Williams got at 33. Trent Williams has agreed to terms on a six-year, $138.06 million deal to stay with the 49ers, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported Wednesday morning. The contract includes $55.1 million in fully guaranteed money and a $30.1 million signing bonus It's actually a 4yr/$75M deal with the team option to eat it for $6M after that point. So $20M a year from age 33-36.

Mailata is a direct result of hard work and Stoutland's teaching. Dillard isn't a bad athlete, and not much below Mailata's sheer athleticism. So, he needs to swallow his pride and just buckle down to work harder... or he can just roll into the fetal position and get run out of the league.

Still mad about that situation. Fell because of a murder he wasn’t even considered a suspect for. The fact that the Eagles (or any team) wouldn’t even use a 7th for that talent is ridiculous. Then he goes right to the Cowboys😡

Overall, I don't think we can complain because our OL has been great up until last year.
