The skill set is there, as is the production. Lack of competition was his biggest detraction.

This game is the test for that, if he delivers, he'll get a Baker/Burrow type rise up the draft boards.

I prefer Corral first QB drafted , but I can see Pickett being first QB drafted

My guy I’ve been pulling for this season, it’s just those hands, of a 12 yr old boy.   Gotta see him play in cold, rainy weather.

Hands haven’t been a problem , and I don’t expect they will be .

Pickett is a very old prospect for a QB. Scary to take that in RD1.

He’s almost a 4 year starter this is his 5th, it’s certainly taken time to get him to this spot.  There’s a distant family connection, that’s why I’ve paid attention to the kid.  If he had Corrals or Carson Strongs arm strength, he would go number 1, not first QB, but first pick. 

They play until they are 35 in today’s NFL , with the way the games are called

Experience can be good thing, I’m sure it would of helped Trubisky, and as long as there aren’t bad habits like Hurts has, Picketts experience shouldn’t be a problem.

Being a man playing against boys is absolutely an issue. 

Pickett will be drafted in the 1st or early 2nd round because the class is so poor BUT he shouldnt be. I just hope we are not the team that reaches for him that early
