Yea , shaped different too , subtle difference

As I watch Strong ,  the more I see , the more he reminds me of Bledsoe .

Called the TD back for "taunting" from the ball-carrier.

Really like Doubs , he is my second fav WO after Burks

pitch and catch with Doubs , 6 catches already , still in first Q

Strong with the pick , nice read by the DB

With all the QB camps, summits, Elite 11 and all the other crap they have to help QBs you'd think there would be alot more polished pocket passer QBs coming up thru the college ranks

You haven't gotten the memo? Pocket Passers are passé.

Bama struggling with TN early

Strong throws to some big targets

Eagles only have Epps and McLeod at Safety tomorrow with Riley being the third and only other safety against the best big play team in the league. Gannon is going to have them lining up 30 yards deep.

Playing their cover 2/4 they’ve barely given up anything deep this season. Even before McLeod came back. I think the bigger issue will he can they actually stop the run.

Omg that’s ridiculous

Carson Strong- No Thank you

Dude has no zip in his arm. Very slow traveling ball. He will get picked a lot in the NFL with anything over 15 yards. He lives off screens, short dump offs and rainbows deep to tall targets.  Def not feeling him at all.

What quarterbacks have you liked lately?

Some guys say it’s easier to spin the NFL ball, than the college one, the CFL ball was even bigger until a few years ago, and Flutie said it helped him coming back to the NFL, said the CFL was like a Rugby one, lol.

On the QB’s  we got screwed by the thought or promise of Rattler Nix, Purdy, and Slovis.  They looked decent as first year starters a few years ago and Slovis was really good, he didn’t have much of an arm but everything else was there, in 2019 he had like 30 TD’s and a 72 or 73 Completion,%. Fast forward to now, his arm still sucks, and his lower body throwing mechanics are stiff as hell making him even a weaker thrower.

This draft, not really any. I think Pickett has the most upside for me with his arm strength, zip on the ball but can have touch when needed and can throw most routes accurately. hes a pocket QB, not a runner which I do like.  But Im not feeling him as a top 10 pick, hes still a bit of a risk but to me the one I would take at this point over any of the rest. Still dont feel any are fully worth a first rounder but we all know the NFL over values the position so multiple QBs will go in the early first and turn out to be busts.

What a dime by Carson strong

He’s fine there, he was told 2 years ago year to dial it back,  no one questions his arm strength.  In 2019 he was almost a college worst 20% on passes over 20 yards, he made it to 42% last year, and is up to 59% this year. His issue was overthrowing the ball, he’s a big kid and got some help from Herbert on not killing receivers with brutally hard passes.

Him and Howell this year are in the top 3 against the blitz and under pressure, but Strong still holds onto the ball a little to long and with that bad knee, he’s got to get that fixed before he gets drafted.

Now it’s a game, Strong has been great in this drive, 2pt coming up, ugh missed.  Still he was great on that drive making sure to throw it where only his guys could catch it.
