"Falling back down to earth” would suggest he’s normally not that good.  But was outplaying his potential recently.  That’s ridiculous. Mahomes is having a down year, for sure.  But he’s been great since he’s been in the NFL.

Not the same as "falling back down to earth”.

That's the SB loser curse.  It happens every year it seems.

Mahomes is going to lead a remarkable comeback in the 2nd half with 5+ TDs. That’s what 500 mil gets you.

Wait there is other players playing other then the QB? But I only watch the Qb when the ball is snapped. Your joking right? Pulling a fast one on us, ha ha, your a funny guy.

It's the Falcons, so no lead is safe.

He's part of the problem.

Seems those underthrown bombs to Hill where he's open by 10 yards after scrambling around for 7 seconds aren't there anymore.

Huge. Moreau isn't bad though.

His oline is horrible and not helping him one bit. Just remember how bad it was in philly last year with no oline. Lets not even mention the defense that they put on the field. The entire team has not played well. He is part of the problem but not the biggest issue on that team this year. Mahomes biggest issue is his contract will start to affect the team to keep players and sign or trade for talent which the Chiefs do a lot. They better start hitting on draft picks.

We have the 5th least rushing attempts in the NFL so far, but probably have the least by RBs since the 3 teams with less attempts than us are:  MIA, PGH, NYJ, and ATL.  Only MIA has a mobile QB in Tua, but I don't think he runs nearly as much as Hurts does (yup, 53 for Hurts and only 7 for Tua).  However, we are tied for 2nd best in YPC at 5.2, though some of that is helped by Hurts with his 5.7 YPC.

Raiders are tied with HOU for worst YPC at only 3.3 (next worst is 3.7).  They have the 3rd ranked passing O, though.  Though it seems our run D has been mediocre this season we are tied for 9th best with a YPC against of 4.1.  So though at times it seems we've allowed teams to run right through us, on paper here we should be able to stifle their ground game.  Though, I wouldn't count on anything with this team.  We are tied for 5th in YPA against at 6.7 so another area where we look worse on the field than what the stats show.  Carr has been sacked 17 times, 8th most, so he can be got to and hopefully the DL can put pressure on him, though it'd be nice to see some more disguised blitzes.  LVR are tied with the 5th most pass plays over 40yds and have the most over 20yds, so have to wonder if Gannon will play his mundane "keep everything in front of us and don't get beat deep" D, which makes us more vulnerable to the run.  We have only allowed 14 pass plays over 20 yards, which is 2nd best only behind BUF, and LVR have only allowed 16 for 3rd best.

On D the LVR have 16 sacks good for top 1/3 of the League and only allow 6.2 YPA.  Against the run they allow 4.6 YPC for 7th worst.  So the big question is does Siri call more run plays and do the RBs get more carries today or will Gainwell only get a dozen snaps again and we still throw the ball an ish load of times?  Follow up question, do any of you have any faith right now in this coaching staff or FO that we'll make adjustments on O to help Hurts?

Until they show me they can make the proper adjustments then I have to figure that Gannon will give too much respect to their passing game and play the 2 deep so they'll be able to run the ball on us effectively and carve us up in the pass game underneath.  And despite the LVR having a better pass D than a run D that we'll continue to force the passing game and RPOs and look ineffective on O.

@LeanMeanGM  Put me in for:

Raiders 23

Eagles 17 on a garbage time late TD

Bonus:  The D gets 3 sacks of Carr, Hurts YPA is under 5.5 and our RB carries combined are under 12.

Good for us. Our draft pick position gets better and better.

They are saving him and keeping him healthy for next year when they trade for Watson. We will need Minshew to start when the league suspends Watson for the full season.  :)

Panthers - Giants reinventing the sport of football with a riveting score of 5-3 in the third

Speaking of Watson a friend of mine is friends with him and they were talking on the phone and I asked to speak to Watson. I asked him if he’s accept a trade to the Eagles and he said yes.

That was a hell of a catch by Hollywood brown
