It’s fair to say now the Bengals did ok drafting Chase over Sewell.

As for Dillard, I'd take a pick next year - it can be packaged for more picks in the future or a player, so no harm in doing it in my eyes.

Smith is no scrub, and we wouldnt be in a spot to have the top pick in the 2022 draft right now (Dolphins pick). Not sure why us staying at 6 would have changed the minds of the Bengals at 5? 

Perfectly fine with how it played out in the first round for us.

My favorite argument against drafting Justin Jefferson the year before was that he wasn't the best WR on his own team...  Chase would have been the top rated WR in that draft, had he been eligible.  Yet, those same people were ga-ga over Ruggs and Jeudy... even though, now we know that Smith was actually the best WR on that team... amirite?

Yeah its Not. They were taking him regardless of what the eagles did. And they weren’t moving back unless chase was off the board which he wasn’t going to be.
