He wasnt my top target. I wanted Pitts and would have played him as a outside WR like a Mike Evans type receiver. Chase was number 2 on the list though for me. Perfectly fine with Smith and a top 5 pick this year however  over Chase :)

Pitts and Chase was a common 1a 1b targets for everybody. That’s why when they were both gone at 6 everyone favored the trade down. I agree with you though, Smith + blue chip defensive prospect in 2022 draft is great for me. I think Smith can have comparable career to Chase honestly

Mahomes got smoked!

Mahomes is injured?   Good, now he will be a target for Howie to go for in a trade.  Might even lower the price... double win.

I get it. The tackle play is the biggest problem. But, they can’t be helping.

everytime I watch a Ravens game, I come away unimpressed with Lamar Jackson as a QB, yeah he can throw the ball, and he can run, but he isn't a QB, and he is one big hit away from being RGIII

It’s not like he was a bad prospect or anything either. But now Panthers are in a worse situation knowing they don’t have a capable QB and don’t have draft picks to try and trade up. Crucial mistake by them

Dolphins are still alive in this game 

Geez, that's what happens when you pay a QB that massive a chunk of the salary cap. The team around him is just not good enough.

Even an all-timer like Mahomes cannot overcome that.

I’ve wondered the same thing. They’ve been a huge distraction this year. I’m a huge Mahomes fan yet those two make it difficult to be a Mahomes fan. There’s something with them every week
