Looks like he won't be dancing for a while... sucks that he can't stay healthy.

DId I catch Shane calling the plays ? DId Nick give up the play calling?

He calls the plays to the QB

Great

To win with Hurts, we have to run a run-first, QB-run offense. It'll work today against a team that can't stop the run...but not sustainable if the goal is to win a SB.

gross.

Sure does

I’m fine rolling with Gainwell

Kinda weird Hurts is smiling with Sanders down

I believe I called that in my bonus. Sanders gets injured

Incidentally, turns out only game on FOX in New England today is the Eagles-Raiders matchup.

6 carries per game is too much for Sanders.

Could be achilles or knee. Not sure which one.

ankle.

Phew

Mailata got beat easily there.

What’s happening with Sanders? Still down? Cart?

Hurts being Hurts now...LOL

Now Nick has "the excuse" not to run Sanders meaning not calling run plays.

My guess out for a few weeks with ankle sprain

Just curious... what happened to the running game on that drive?   Lining up under center... straight hand offs?  They worked on the first drive, so we go away from that on the second deep in our own end?

walked off gingerly

I wonder when people will admit that Mailata isn’t playing a lick better than Dillard, especially when it comes to pass protection.

They established the run already, time to bomb it away

Even so, Mialata's upside is a lot higher than Dillard's.  Mialata hasn't been playing football that long, so he will get better over the next few years.

Mailata was a rock pre knee injury. He's been a bit slower since. Hurts also could have stepped up in that pocket too.
