Well, that’s not entirely accurate.  They start getting the ball to the backs more and then Sanders gets hurt.

Yeah Derrick Henry is really the exception to that rule. But odds are you aren’t getting Henry on that second contract.

Eagles moving Mailata over the line certainly couldn’t have helped
 

Mailata got toasted on that one.  He doesn't look as quick as before the knee injury, though speed rushers were his one issue.

I won’t argue that at all. He also had the benefit the first couple years of low mileage on him. Most carries he had his first four years in a season was 177. Most touches was 250 touches.

Even then... the economics of an expensive RB means going thinner elsewhere.  Doubtful to be a SB team.
