The Eagles don't win games where they don't get big time pressure up front. And even in the game vs Carolina where they had that, they barely won that.

But with a bad defense and an offense that can't keep pace really with anyone, if it's not a game where Hargrave and Cox dominate up front, the Eagles simply have no chance.

I had them at 5 wins at the beginning of the season, but I was expecting a more entertaining 5 wins.   Maybe if this was an organization that I could feel optimistic about... The most exciting thing is the potential draft capital... but then I remember Lowie lurking as the real issue ... and the organizational structure hasn't changed one bit.   The 2017 Super Bowl was a gift from above... not the culmination of great planning and execution.

Yea but the defense would do the one thing that allows our offense to move the football…yield the LOS, let Hurts roll out unassailed, and yield his first underneath read for 5-8 yards per play.

Frankly, I was thinking about that, then realized that the squib kick is a higher probability of something weird and bad happening for the Raiders than taking the guaranteed touchback and letting Sirianni take the knee because you know they aren't handing it off on the next play right before the half after that last fumble.

It is kind of ironic that our defense intentionally yields the one thing our offense can do…so that they can prioritize stopping something our offense doesn’t even try to do.

Salary cap wise that is not good. This is not a QB draft teams want to trade up to the top spot either. So I wouldnt except much coming for a trade up from teams for one of those picks. Now 5 to 10 range you might get calls.

The INT Carr threw looms large in the formula.  1 TD, 1 INT isn't as heavily weighted as 1 TD, 0 INT.  And the key is the completion PERCENTAGE.  50% versus 91% apparently isn't that big a deal... but 5 completions versus 21 should be.   

 

BTW... Jalen Hurts has more rushing attempts than Carr has incompletions...

I'm just saying, I don't even know who there is really. Watson does not want to come here, Rodgers either. I can't see why Wilson would want to come here either... Not sure who else is even out there. The draft is all I see realistically, maybe even have to wait til the 2023 draft

Pretty safe bet Miami will be a top 5 pick. Ours will be 8-15. Colts TBD.

Our DB’s are two yards away from this defense being Prevent 95% of the time.  Just put the safeties on the goal line, F, it. 
 Leatherwood was supposed to be a scrub, so he’s garbage at Tackle but an All Pro at Guard?
