He didn't want the job last year.  He won't want it next year.  Lurie and Howie won't be able to get a top quality candidate as long as they are trying to have as much influence over the HC that they had with Doug before he grew a spine and and that they have now with Sirianni.

The Eagles under Lurie have made themselves dysfunctional and now are not an attractive place to come to.

Tell that to guys like Ertz who still wears the team’s colors even playing for a different team. Tell that to Long who even in retirement talks about how great it is to play here.

The Eagles are still a top destination. Lurie is still one of the best owners. We have top end facilities, we are willing to spend money, we have a big TV market and a huge fan base. We are looking at 3 top 15 picks, maybe 3 top 10 picks.

Any coach with a clue will think they can turn this around.

I’ll say one thing to defend the coaches…the talent deficit on this team is so egregious…they aren’t really coaching; they are just scrambling to plug leaks.

They are plugging those leaks in an ineffective, irrational fashion…but it’s not like there has been an opportunity to actually have a good game plan or to call the right plays.  
 

We are asking them to be fireman in a crap storm, not coaches.  Granted, they are doing a bad job of it.

any of the top QB's coming out in 2022 play in a NFL Prostyle offense or are they all RPO Read option  system guys?
