Just be glad Hurts isn't playing our defense every week, the Front Office might actually think he can make it as QB1

He did during TC and struggled soooo

OL had a rough day for sure, but 50% of that is on Hurts.  Dude is bailing from ghosts half the time and causing the issues.

I spent the game watching the Eagles offense and concentrated solely on Hurts — he’s difficult to watch play QB; that’s the best way I can put it.

He doesn’t have any feel at all for the RPO.  He kept the ball and ran with it at least 3 times when the RB had a huge hole through the middle.  Even when he does stay in the pocket he’s got more than happy feet, his mechanics in the pocket are really bad.  By the time he gets around to throwing the football he’s gone off-script 80% of the time.  The OL has a really tough gig trying to protect a QB who just won’t operate plays the way they’re drawn up.

Hurts is much happier or more comfortable playing sandlot football.  It just doesn’t work in the NFL unless you’re a phenomenal athlete like Vick or Lamar Jackson.  He’s just not the long term answer at QB, and he’s not the short term answer either.  He’s maybe a guy you bring in off the bench for a game or two as an injury replacement.

I do think Halaby is a driving force behind the scenes to this horrific offense. We all blame a Siri but Jeff/Howie love this Halaby and he is much higher up the totem pole than Siri.

I think the guys selling popcorn in the stands might be as high on the totem pole as Siri.

I'm still not ready to pile completely on Siri...Hurts is that bad.

Accepted a penalty on 3rd down when the play resulted in 4th down, and the surprise onsides kick weren't on Hurts. Hurts sucks donkey balls, but Siri kinda does too.

Yes! Absolutely. Hurts may suck and that is becoming pretty clear. But I'm still more concerned with the HC because he's clueless.

Thanks for making my point for me. Absurd comparisons across the board.

Did I miss the PC or is Nick really late?

Pass rush we paid a ton of money for was fantastic today. 0 sacks and 2 Qb hits

I was shocked the Raiders weren’t going for it on fourth there.

Yes! Yes it absolutely would be.

Id be in allot better mood if the Flyers had won last night. Had the best seats I'll ever have too. Sigh. I figured we would lose today.

I'm just really struggling with this team right now. They aren't fun, they aren't creative, they have no future right now. It's bad, really bad.

The defense is not competitive - that's on Roseman

The offense is not good enough - that's on Hurts.

Apparently he was going to decline it but Raiders sent offense on the field first. Then he changed his mind and right at the same time Raiders pulled the offense and sent in the punt team. Not defending it, just sounded like there was a lot going on.

Starting to think Sweat will be overpaid. He seems more like a situational player, not a starter. He's getting paid like a starter. This team needs minimum one high draft pick at end this coming draft. I'd take another in 2023 as well.

Can't hear the questions in the PC

If every defense played prevent like they were up 3 scores the whole game Hurts would be good enough

Nobody, I mean nobody completes five yard passes against a prevent down by multiple scores like Jalen hurts 😒

Lol

I know you disagree but benching Wentz was a huge mistake. We should have let him have his off year then come back swinging this year. He's playing well. Imagine him with Smith. Hurts may be the better person but he isn't the better QB

Said that the day he was paid, roseman decided Barnett wasn't worth re signing so he tried to throw money at the problem by over paying sweat who is no more than a situational role player.

Just another bad eval by Howie and Co.

Hurts is F in’ garbage.

I think it’s easily defensible. The Raiders would have been stupid to punt there.

Lurie needs to bring in a real GM, hand the keys over and let him do whatever. That will not happen any time soon fellas. Jeff is too involved with things and he's not going to just bow out now.

He loves Howie, he loves this ridiculous analytical department, he won't allow these guys to be fired yet by an outsider. If he does anything, maybe he demotes Howie again but Jeff won't bring in anyone to disrupt what he wants or to allow his precious analytical dept to be touched so it won't change much.

Jeff needs to wake the F up and bow the F out, two things that aren't happening, and even if he does wake up I have zero confidence he is bowing out anytime soon.
