I feel like that decision is for the most part already made. He’d have to play at a pro bowl level for the Eagles not to wanna upgrade.

I don't think so. If he is at the very least solid this year the eagles would be extremely dumb to give up this early. They can possibly have 3 first round picks, not having to waste them on a QB is ideal. This team is bad, it's not like they're a qb away from a championship or even making the playoffs

No. It merely indicates suicidal tendencies.

It took until a week ago for Howie to even name him the starter. Teams can go from bad to good quick in the NFL. If there’s a QB to be had, they’ll get one.

I’m also convinced he was a Pederson pick.

These sort of stats are becoming increasingly less impressive as offensive numbers are elevating year to year for everyone in the league

with an impressive win today maybe he will quiet down some of the hate , doubt it will with some of the winners in here.

Tried to PM you the hook up, you don’t accept PM’s

PM me please. I know of one hosting site in Iceland that rhymes with "triple" but they are spotty at best.

Back home I still have DirecTV who gave me the ticket for free this year (loyal customer) but since I'm overseas idk if my VPN will work or not. I just tried to log onto the mobile version and the app wanted me to be connected to my home network in order to set it up so that's a no go. Hopefully I can get it to work but in case not I'm looking for a solid backup.

DUDE!  🤦‍♂️

Why do you do this to me?   It was supposed to be closed at kickoff on Thursday.

Can I go with 12-5 please? Missed it. 😁

I think Howie wants another multiple year run while he has a young top QB on a rookie 5 year deal.  Hurts really has to play very well this year for them not to target QB next season.

Is it time to drink yet??

Yes yes it is

Does anyone else have the issue of pretty much every pizza place being closed on a Sunday?

I've got one good one that opens at 3 on a Sunday which is obviously too late.

The rest are closed all day.  That leaves me with pizza hut and domino's.  Or about a 20 minute drive but then the pizza isn't that fresh.

Isn't it idiotic to be a pizza business and close on a football Sunday? That's gonna be your best business day of the week.

That is very odd.  Here in Chicago they all open at 10 or 11am on Sundays

It was weird seeing him on the Heisman house commercials.  I was like.... 'Wait, that's an Eagles' player!'   :D

I guess that means we can renounce the Tebow affiliation.    I still want to see some more Davey O'Brien stuff out of those commercials.

And the Sammy Sleeves

Also the only reason it’s a thing is because they have to attach the rushing yards to it. Mahomes in his first 5 starts had over 1,500 yards but the tweet would lead you to believe Hurts is better.

Game day! Go Birds!

Fine.

Ridgeway, Wallace, Maddox, Hurts, Bradley and a 5th.

Time to see what this team can bring to the table.  I'm particularly excited to see Mailata and of course Hurts in their first opening day starts.

Got this ready for today:

I’d go with "You’re just a hater!” in your case.

Glad I won’t need an excuse tonight.

I will include that in the "works harder than anyone" square. Good call.
