2-2 is humiliating.

1-3 means the Eagles are one of the 2-3 worst teams in the nfl, top 3 pick.

0-4 means we are the worst team in football.

There’s no way this team is beating the Lions next week.  Flacco will have a rebirth facing the defense he sees every practice. We are a playoff revenge game for Joe Judge and the Giants.  I think the team will be lucky to be 1-3.

I agree, especially when the league still hasn't done anything to the WFT whom was the focus of the original investigation.

Gruden deserves to be held accountable for his remarks and actions and in today's climate there was no way the league or raiders could keep him employed, having said that other players coaches FO people have done far worse and have been basically slapped on the hands.

I mean Bob Kraft got caught paying for a rub and tug, Rothlisberger paid off two sexual assault cases in civil court, ray Lewis is in the HOF because hes apparently just as good at getting rid of evidence of murder as he is at LB.

Watson has 22 women accusing him of sexual misconduct/assault and teams are still willing to trade for him but e mails resurface of you saying something racist or sexist a few years ago and boom you're out for life.

Heck a whole organization can get busted for cheating twice and the league will destroy the evidence and act like they care about the cheating.

There's no method to the madness except money.

Grudens remarks were more detrimental to the image of the league and fans than sexual assault and cheating.

Sad but it is what it is.

That always made the most sense to me. A guy who's being accused of heinous things and is in a place he loathes isn't going to play hard to get.

I know people here don't want him, but I'm telling you the Eagles missing out on him assuming he gets cleared to play at some point in the near future, they're going to regret it for a long time. The ripple effects could be huge:

-If Miami gets him and he plays it could affect the first rounder

-There is no obvious path to another franchise QB. Unless you want a 33 year old Russell Wilson who may or may not even be available. He's a franchise legend, I still doubt they trade him. And if the Eagles are 2-3 years away from contention, that means Wilson will be 35-36 when they're ready to contend.

-It could lead to Howie like just mentioned reaching on a QB in the upcoming draft and blowing draft capital on the wrong QB class.

You saw something similar with the Sixers and Harden. They weren't able to get a deal done. What it has led to since:

-The Nets being a super team(if Kyrie ever gets vaccinated lol and gets back on the court)

-It made Ben Simmons disgruntled and set that down a contentious path toward divorce

-Sixers had no other options in the offseason to trade for once they didn't get Harden. They were banking on Lillard or Beal and neither were available, so they're left scratching their asses.

 

Putting the morality stuff aside, this is the clearest and most obvious way to get an young elite franchise QB, and if they miss out on this then it's going to be rued for years to come.
