No, he ideally lines up over LT. They are playing him there because Graham is out.

I guess Milton Williams hasn’t shown much yet, but I wouldn’t mind putting him at base end and Sweat back on the blindside. At least put some sand in the pants of this DL to stop the run. I’ve seen enough of Barnett getting stoned and spinning inside on repeat.

WHAT IF:

Them trading Flacco away is because they believe we have the Watson Trade in the bag, so we could afford to give away one QB?

I agree. Time to play the young guys and get them some experience.

No Watson. We got Reid Sinnett!

Reid is a practice squad QB

I agree. In this hyper racialized society now, people have taken on this "America is a horrible racist, bigoted place and our #1 priority in every walk of life must be social justice everywhere all the time." And people are also afraid of keeping quiet because they will be labeled as "not allies" and some do it for clout. There's no way in hell people didn't know about these emails years ago and no one said anything because no one cared. Once they became public it was "Oh crap, I gotta condemn Gruden publicly to show how aboard the social justice train I am so people don't start calling me racist too because 'silence is violence!'" when you know deep down so many likely couldn't care less. It's performative.

It's funny that the people who knew Gruden best personally vouched for him as a person. Tirico and Dungy. And some of his players texted Josina Anderson saying they stand by him because they know him.

It shows you how hypocritical the NFL is and they will always and only follow what affects their bottom line.

The juxtaposition of Ray Lewis being in the HOF after being involved in the death of a person and Jon Gruden being removed from the Tampa ring of honor for some nasty emails is just pretty hilarious.

Partly agree with some of this and not so much others but that's for another forum

I'll say this though, the league has shown like you say that over the years they'll always prioritize what affects their bottom line

I watch every UGA football game.

Dean is insanely good.

Excels in coverage or against the run.

Leader of that defense.

Give me Dean and Davis in next year's draft.

Toss in two of Thibodeux, Hutchinson, Stingley, Hamilton.

There won't be a dry seat on the couch.

One hardly needs to go back that far to cite afan’s moronic takes

Afan’s takes are many things but never moronic. I cannot say the same of yours or mine.

So is Hurts.  What does that matter?

One has been the starting QB for the Eagles for the last 11 games for some unknown reason save for possible tanking to gain draft leverage?

The other will actually be on the practice squad

????  Hows that for the difference?

Now they have more in common, neither can play qb at an NFL level....

They claimed him off waivers. He’s on the 53. Miami wanted him to clear waivers so they could put him on their practice squad.

The Jameis experience!

I thought Jameis was going to be a top half or top third QB this year.

Not close. He might be worse than Hurts.

If Dean had Parsons size he’d go even earlier because he just a smarter football player.   I won’t cry though if they can only get one of Hamilton or Dean.   Dean and Stingley would be perfect.
Fans and a lot of GM’s underrate leaders on the field, Dean and or Hamilton would of saved Taylor Sunday by yelling out pass, right now they don’t have anyone to do that.

Lol he is not worse than Hurts. He has 12 passing TDs to 3 Ints and his QBR is 8th in the league and his passer rating is way better too

I needed a big night from Metcalf to have a chance.  He had the one big play which got my hopes up.  Nothing since.  He’s too busy wrestling Lattimore.

You got an 84 yard TD with Geno throwing the ball. How much more did you need?

Let's draft a franchise QB, it's so easy. I mean if you take one in the top ten, you're guaranteed to land a starter who'll instantly make you respectable, like D Jones or Darnold, or Lawrence and Wilson this year, or . . .

Mayfield is good.  Murray is great.  Hurts is a transfer.  Rattler is a pompous Dbag.  Williams is legit.

Mayfield isn’t good enough.  I’m not sure I’m a Murray believer yet.

Hurts should be a RB in the nfl and he was nearly as good in Oklahoma’s offense as the above two number one overall picks.  That should tell you all you need to know about how reliable it is to evaluate QBs in that offense.

As if the Saints didn’t drop the ball enough when Winston threw dimes, now that.

Good idea. Let’s waste our time with a below average QB who at best tops out slightly above .500 who will never get anywhere in the playoffs because we are too scared about taking a risk. Mediocrity is the gold standard.

Of course with how good you make out Howie and the scouting staff to be it surely shouldn’t be a problem drafting a top 10 QB right?

Voila - these demands are getting easier each week.

Drafting a QB in the top 10 isn't a mystery like some think it is. Those who know the position well have a pretty high hit % with who they think will succeed or fail. Chris Simms as one example. There are a lot of people who aren't good at evaluating QBs.

Also, maybe let's not write the book on Lawrence and Wilson after 7 games while playing on two of the worst teams in the league. They both have done some really good things so far too.

Like I said.  I needed a big night.  I only need like 30 more yards receiving.  Or 1 TD.  He’s gotten one target.  That was the TD.  Injuries kill me.  If it’s not my players.  It’s the QB for my top WR.  Geno Smith sucks.

Still have a full quarter best of luck dude

If Dean makes it to 38, that would have to be an injury for him.

Lawrence is gonna be a good one, it’s  certainly not his fault who his coach is.

Hutchinson seems like a guy who should be getting more buzz in here. He’s a really good prospect at a premium position of need.
