So what you're saying is were going to really hurt some innocent bystanders.

I just change the combat waivers a little bit and we should be fine.

Damn i was hoping to start a curling and drinking local league

Call around... by the way, you'll need 16 stones, not just 1.   8 per team.

But, curling is definitely a good social activity, and much more of a team aspect than bowling.  Great strategy involved, in addition to the difficulty of 'throwing' the correct line.

We can invent a new sport. It will be like bowling but just little kids instead of pins.

Screw the stones we send shot glasses filled with liquor of our choice down the ice. If it lands in the middle circle opponent has to take a double shot. The middle circle you shotgun a beer and the shot. And outer circle take the shot

feel like this would be an awesome sport.

Interesting nuggets including...

"It wouldn't be a shock to see an AFC North team call Philly about offensive tackle Andre Dillard, who is considered to be on the block. Browns and Ravens have had depth issues there."

"Some teams around the league are keeping an eye on Philadelphia's quarterback situation -- and whether Gardner Minshew gets a shot eventually. The consensus is the Eagles continue to stay with Jalen Hurts in the short term. But if the slide continues, coach Nick Sirianni might not have a choice. Hurts ranks 26th in QBR at 38.8. The quarterbacks behind him are either rookies or veterans who have had tenuous rides in the NFC West (Jimmy Garoppolo, Jared Goff). Scouts like Hurts but questioned whether he could get it done over a full season. Will he get a full season to help them find out?"

The reason so many teams stay bad is this pattern:  draft a QB high, start him as a rookie with inadequate talent around him, when he fails, draft another QB high, repeat cycle.

Alternative, build a top ten OL, a top ten defense, find a good FG kicker, then get a young QB. So he has protection and isn't playing from behind all the time.

8 teams are allowing 20 or less points per game, 4 more 21 points a game. Last year was an aberration, two years ago 10 teams allowed less than 20 ppg - that should be your goal on defense.

So you go into games thinking 2 TDs, 3 FGs and we have a good shot at winning most games. That allows an OC to call a more conservative game and wait to take his shots.

Of all the young QBs, only Mac Jones in NE has that luxury.

oh my lord Sirianni just said the corniest thing in his PC

This is a summary of it but doesn't do it justice

I had an old coach who used to say, "if you run a play and it's successful, run it again. Don't assume the other team got smart. Run it until they stop it."

In the last game we put Cox in the A gap and the other DT as a 3-tech, with an LB five yards deep over the center. Denver doubled Cox, turned the other guy (usually Hargrove) out, blocked the LB with the LT, and ran straight up the gut for 8-10 yards a pop. What did we do? Same alignment on the next play. So, straight up the gut, 8-10 yards.

My old coach was right.

Conversely, the other team may figure they just played it badly the first time. After the second time:  "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice . . ."

well?

Watering and fertilizing = Gardner

It's a long quote, I was going to wait for a transcript of it.

Basically he showed the team a picture of a plant and how roots grow under the soil before the plant or something. So they all need to keep watering the plant so that the roots grow so the plant can grow.

Jalen Hurts has a ton of good pieces around him and he's bad.

If you water and fertilize crap, it's still crap...

Nick Sirianni's next picture he's going to show the team

That might have been Nicks worst PC, including the first one. Which makes me wonder how bad he is behind closed doors.

no one said locks. You did.

I just said they arent easy wins for the dolphins and then why i think the other teams would win.

Again, my only point is, the dolphins schedule is far fro m easy

Are you freaking serious?

"really easy schedule"....

Bills, Baltimore, Titans, Patriots, Saints, Panthers are locked for losses(60% of the games left)

Then they have Giants(probably an L) The Jets twice, which if you watched both teams it'll probably be a split.

3-7 at best but probably 2-8. Yea, really easy schedule

So either you don’t know what you write or you are a liar.

What if I told you before the season that the number 3 ranked Fantasy player in all of football was Jalen Hurts who is right behind (at least in my league) Tom Brady and Derrick Henry.

I would say - I dont care about fantasy football - I care about the Eagles Pro Football Team. Hurts may get you points in fantasy, but in reality he is hurting this team as QB1

That press conference was full of fertilizer

ok. lock it in.

again, the dolphins dont have an easy schedule.

Again I NEVER SAID THEY HAD AN EASY SCHEDULE. this really shouldn’t be this hard.

So let me get this straight you said that I was the one that brought up that it was a lock originally. Meanwhile it was actually you who Fing said it originally. JFC.

How? You think the players sitting in meetings listening about roots and watering flowers is good when they get blown out every week?
