Above average pass blocking, just about average run blocking (slightly below average).

Which is what I would expect for a guy with excellent technique but limited physical ability. How he develops from here is on him and his dna. Someone here compared him to Herremanns. No. Just no. Herremans came in here strong; Driscoll is not strong enough. Yet. He knows that.

I dont think it is a physical comparison. I think its in the way that they were both unheralded 4th round picks, who have versatility to play almost anywhere on the line, and became/potentially going to become solid starters for years.

What’s crazy about the NFC is next year if rodgers gets traded to the broncos and if Wilson asks out again and gets dealt to the raiders then the four best QBs in the nfc next year could be brady, murray, Dak and Stafford.

It's a good message to tell the team.

Using flowers as an example of growing was not.  Football players don't give a crap about flowers.

Is Sirianni really using the flower analogy to show growth process to grown men?

God this guy is In way over his head…..

I get what he is saying with that analogy , but he had to use a flower? Why not a sequoia, redwood or the mighty oak. No, he uses a dainty flower, which is actually very fitting for what we are.
This team has barely a foundation, so the analogy doesn't work. Maybe if we have a strong draft this coming year we will begin to grow some roots. Right now there's minimal young players to build off so I wouldn't even call it roots.

Our injury report is really big for Wednesday despite a lot of our players not getting hurt against the Raiders.

If some players miss games (ex: Hargrave with shoulder), then you can get worried about guys quitting. "For who, for what".

That’s fair to say. Difference personally for me was that I said in the preseason of that year that Herremans was better than Robert Gallery, who was the #2 pick overall. That’s me being the blind chicken. I cling to those moments of being right. And the difference remains, Todd was much stronger.

I was always hard on Doug for catering to the veteran guys too much.  How many rest days to some of these 30+ guys get?  I get you want to minimize risk of injuries, but that can't be good for culture, example to the young guys, etc.

TC they were getting 1 out of every 3 days off. During the season its been every Wednesday.

I was on the old EMB at the time when JR said this before the draft. JR got crushed as he hated on Gallery. He was right.

Sirianni channeled his inner Gabe kapler

That's got a pretty strong "I used this in high school" vibe to it. I can't imagine that working with professionals, even if the theory may be accurate to him.

Surprised there hasn't been any breakdown videos of the Raiders game yet

We could end up with the #1 overall pick in a draft that doesn't have a great QB prospect

Just our Fing luck

Is there at least some kind of generational defensive player?

Who was the last great QB drafted, and what pick did he go?

2019 #178

Today's generation.  Soft as goose crap.  And I'm not just talking about football players.

How did he quit?

He wanted a trade if he didn't have a guaranteed starting spot in 2021. Hows that not quitting?

Speaking of soft football players..

In my opinion, yes.  Thibodeaux DE, Stingley CB, Hamilton S, Leal DT

Real nice defensive draft , all 3 levels

nice OL draft

weak WO

nice TE

ok RB

I think there are a handful of QBs with potential , but no sure fire top 10 , not saying some team won’t draft a QB early
