The biggest problem I have with Sirianni is the answer he gave before the season is the same he gives now which he claims he learned from Reich. Paraphrased, "when you are facing adversity you don’t panic and change, you stick and double down with the original approach and use that to overcome.”

Which is about the worst thing he could do at this point.

About time for him to call it a career. He just can’t stay healthy.

He always has a second career as mr. Incredible if Disney does a live action movie.

I really wanted him to get a ring. Huge bummer indeed

Well, let's trade Barnett to them now.

Every coach in the league tries different things for motivation. Mike McCarthy crushes watermelons. They're football coaches and football players. Nick's are only seen as embarrassing because the team is losing. If we were winning, it would be a different story. The problem isn't what Sirianni says, it's that we're losing.

If the Cards win it (weird to say), he still will.

So, what you are saying is that losing is the biggest problem?

Don’t agree. Joe Judge came off as a joke well before the games started. Dan Campbell too. Mike McCarthy also showing clips of Austin Powers telling his team "to find their Mojo” on Hard Knocks was bad and criticized before games started. Nicks are embarrassing because it’s High School Harry stuff, regardless of the record. His stuff also got criticized well before games started.

Nah... if a coach wins, he can be as big a jackass as he wants to be, and he's just eccentric or whatever - see also, Bill Belichek.  But, if they lose, they are buffoons and off the wall, etc.

That sucks. He’s had a tough go of it with injuries.

The Cards will be okay though - he hasn’t done much this year looking at his stats, although they may not tell the full story of his impact.

I just think waaay too big of a deal is being made out of it. He's just talking about growth and the work they need to put it in. It's a bit of a weird analogy, but not a big deal at all. Some of the stuff the media has said about it is embarrassing. They should give up their credentials after some of the stuff that has been said.

They get more tolerance for sure. But it’s not like Belichick was ever out there talking about flowers or RPS. He was just a miserable, pompous D-bag.

Yup.  I find that more off-putting, personally.

I’ll agree because of their record and how they looked the last 6 weeks that he’s definitely getting a magnifying glass on him. At the same time if they were 7-0 and he said that I’d still joke about it and say it sounds like he’s coaching pee wee football.

I just want someone boring like Reid back who says "I need to put players in a better position to succeed” 10,000 times.

Just stumbled upon this Belichick gem in the Wickersham book.

That’s the American spirit.  Nothing like a little censorship to get this thing back on track.

Don't even know what you're talking about. No one is talking about censorship.

I need to read this book. He sounds like a 4chan edgelord.

Supposedly a 3 month surgery. A little luck and he could be back for the SB.

You just suggested pulling press member’s credentials.  That would keep them from attending the press conferences, which would prevent them from asking anymore questions All because of what they wrote?  JFC.  That’s pretty delusional.  Maybe not directly censorship.  But f-ing ridiculous nonetheless.  More ridiculous then Sirianni and his goofy analogies and stories.

It’s not just the Philly press BTW.  The local ESPN radio afternoon show, down here, makes fun of him as well.

I was being hyperbolic obviously. The point is some of the stuff that was said about it is unprofessional. The national media only latches on because the Philly media act like a bunch of morons and get everyone going.

Carter hart and the defense picking up from where it left off last year. At least offensively we look much more consistent.
