Fact is, Hart is not the all world goalie we had hoped.  The sooner people realize that the better.  I still see a decent but not great team that if they make the playoffs, will not go deep.  

Goalie is such a fickle position in hockey.  He's a young goalie that was a top prospect coming off of one bad season.  I don't know what he will become but I would be very hesitant to move on from him especially given the defense in front of him last season.

I thought the third goal was a shot he has to stop as well. That was a soft goal imo and could’ve been a back breaker type goal after the flyers took the lead at the very end of the first. Additionally i said that after the 3rd goal where they blew a 2-0 lead and then a 3-2 lead which was eerily similar to games last year where they get a multiple goal lead and blow it. Then regain some momentum and then blow it again. to the flyers credit they didn’t fold after doing that. Last year they would’ve completely unraveled and lost that game like 6-3

That’s the norm for Ellis. He’s injury prone. It’s like expecting desean to play all 16 and now 17 games when you know he’s injury prone and not going too.

The Oilers average 5 goals a game and the flyers kept them to 3 and handed them the first loss of the season.

 

I will say this, I am not a fan of Kevin Hayes and I'm extremely nervous how/where he's going to play when he gets back into the lineup

Comment was made after they blew a 2-0 and 3-2 lead like last year. To their credit after the soft third goal he and the flyers played much better and didn’t fall off a cliff like last year

Yup, or protect his QB when he moved aside so Chase Young could hit Sudfeld.  

I wish Ertz luck, but he put his contract ahead of the team last year.

 

Wish we had a real one like Kyler Murray. He is gonna take out the Packers.

Would be great to get Smith an accurate ball on a crosser once in awhile.
