Do people really think they'll come out and say in press conferences, "Man, we're f'n trash. We know we're trash, we see no hope on the horizon. Our horrible GM/owner have screwed this team up so badly, there's no end in sight". What are you guys seriously expecting from this?

Exactly, people are morons

I love the take that he's going to lose credibility with the flower thing.  Im sure the players would prefer some brutal honesty like "this roster sucks, my QB sucks, and Im just trying not to embarrass the franchise every week"

The players would love that

Just a tad hyperbolic there.

I’m not expecting anything. Just gave an observation. If each player says the same thing it’s because that’s probably the points being drilled into them during meetings.

They are usually boring but you can learn stuff from them. Gannon, for example, has been giving really bad answers the last week that don’t even make sense.

Even worse will be the constant complaining if the team starts winning games in the second half of the season.

So a report came out yesterday that Cal McNair made "racist comments" this year, and some reporters were up in arms that Cal didn't get punished like Jon Gruden did. It was not made clear what those comments were.

What he said was revealed today. His offense? He said "China Virus" during a team meeting back in May.

Are you Fing kidding me with this crap? This is why it's hard to take claims seriously, if people are going to frivolously toss the R word around like candy, without actual substance.

That would be great

Personalities for starters.

Gannon isn't just bad because of his personnel, based on his answers he's either more stubborn than Shwartz or in way over his head.

Just the general sentiment around the team. The whole "were so close", imo, isn't a great look for a team whose core value is accountability. Not saying they need to come out and crush each other, but if they said "we need to do better' it would go over way better, and actually would come off as accountable.

Anything major is just going to be put in tweet and posted here. So I'm not saying by not listening you are missing out.

I get that part. Even if they said what you listed above....it would have the same effect for me. I don't care at all about what they say (unless it's so far out of the norm, and then usually it's a big story). But when they're just regurgitating cliches, I just don't understand a) listening to it, b) getting bothered enough to post about it in here. To each their own though.

Call me crazy but didn't Doug and some other guys used to say that they "were close" the last couple years during a losing streak?

BOB is one example in the last 30+ years.  Philly is cursed.

Part of the problem is the lack of attention to the position through the draft I mean 2 first round picks on Goalie in 52 years.  It's a joke.

Carson said it

Later on Kelce said something to the affect of "we aren't running anything close to resembling an offense" which was funny to me

I think the Eagles could make a lot of money for their charity auction if one of the items was access to all of the press conferences for a fan after an Eagles's loss.

I like listening to press conferences

Siriannis opening press conference was a meandering acid trip nightmare but I think he was nervous

The flower quote doesnt move the needle for me at all.  Hes being genuine and thats what matters.

He needs to get tougher on Hurts and stop the charade.  But thats a very sensitive thing so Im not surprised hes walking on egg shells.

My bigger problem is Gannon, he didnt listen to what Kelce said last week or whatever. Dont lie to us.  We know it sucks, dont tell us it doesnt suck.

I know some are calling it but I don't think we lose to Detroit.

I'd rather win access to the film room while they are in there

I don't think either result would surprise me. Maybe a tie would.

The flower thing was completely idiotic and comes from the mind of someone that clearly doesn't know how to communicate with adults

From reports going all the way back to TC it was said Sirianni is very tough on the players.  He's just not going to criticize someone like Hurts in interviews or PC's.  But I'm sure he is behind the scenes.  There is alot to criticize on tape when it comes to Hurts.

Siri: "Jalen get over here, you see this flower here"?

Hurts:

I just wish he didn't say it out loud to the media. Keep it behind closed doors. Or use a tree instead of a flower.
