Wtf was dillard doing on that screen?

Oh my god. Cmon man. The game is all about winning. Beating a bad team this bad is not the worst possible outcome, get real.

The game is all about sustainable winning.   Doing the right things to win consistently.   This game will not help in that regard.

Two guys who have been inactive and benched all year getting majority of carries and dominating, makes one wonder whose idea it was to keep them and the running game on ice all year.

My vote is for Lowie, meddlesome clueless clowns.

its the Lions...

Blocked and in. That summarizes the Lions fortune as a franchise.

Love how Minshew hung in the pocket there with a DET D player in his face and calmly completes the screen pass.

:P

No idea how this team almost beat Ravens and gave the Rams a game

At least we’ve acknowledged that Hurts shouldn’t be throwing the ball 70 percent of the time.

That in and of itself is serious growth for this organization.

Yup

Never been less excited by a blowout win

Kerrigan walked the OT in to Goff's lap. We know the Lions are bad now...

I know you know the definition of insanity. This is the type of performance on the surface that lets that continue to go unchecked.

I understand many of you want changes to happen very soon, and losing this game would expedite it. Hurts benched, Sirianni/Howie let go, etc. I’ll agree Howie should of been fired with Doug, but he’s here and will probably remain here for awhile no matter this Lions game. I also think it’s early to call for changes, it’s week 8. Halfway thru the season with 1st year HC & QB in his 2nd year being full time starter. Maybe I’m just more patient and willing to see things thru, maybe I’m wrong, who knows. But to me it’s an evaluation year, I don’t expect much from this year and haven’t since week 17 last year. I don’t think Hurts is the guy, maybe Sirianni isn’t either, but at least want to see the great/good/decent/bad/ugly from this year to see how to go forward.

My god, you grumps. Enjoy the win. So glass half empty all the time.

How can Goff have a TD on his stats when the Lions have scored no points?

Damn, Nick, let Minshew throw it.

To a certain extent I get this.  Running the score up is a bad look.

But, more importantly, if Minshew actually shows the ability to make some throws that Hurts has struggled with all year, that's going to cause trouble.

Gowan!

Smart decision to do that on so many levels.

Wow Fields just made a hell of a run

Ridiculous play by Justin fields

Wait until it becomes a trend rather than an anomaly.

It’s almost impossible to stay sustainable though, even the best teams fall off. Chiefs have looked like a dynasty since Mahomes second season & now you have Chiefs fans saying it’s time to trade Mahomes.

The team has looked way better today. Yes it’s the Lions. But with everything that’s been going on, I think it’s encouraging seeing how coaching staff and players have responded.

Umm no. It sucks they win any games other than Dallas this year. They need massive changes top to bottom and that won't happen with mirages like today. They need a high pick and a loss record that forces Lurie's hand.

What did he do?

I'm not talking about a decade of sustainability.  I'm talking about doing it multiple times in the same season.  Maybe even back to back weeks.

Your QB being the leading rusher in a blowout win is not sustainable on any scale in the NFL.  Hurts running 7 times and having only 9 completions, is also unsustainable.

I'm fine with giving Sirianni some time.  Hurts is what Hurts is.  And it is clearly not a starting QB.
