Why would a contender want him in their locker room ?

unless you got a Brady who can keep these trouble makers in-line , why take the chance of ruining a good thing ?

I don’t see him lasting too long. On waivers

KC makes the most sense. Andy loves dysfunctional players, and they really need a 2nd WR to take heat off Hill. Though Hill is still thriving even with all the attention on him.

It’s overly dramatic and skips over the Eagles’ failures, but he was the one who immediately thought about leaving the second he was benched. He was the one who asked for the trade when the Eagles wanted to keep him.

I've seen a lot of players get "benched" during a poor game. I've never seen an instance where a franchise QB that was benched for such a reason was not given the opportunity to redeem himself (you know ... learn from the benching) the next game. After sparking the team in December the previous year, it was curious we never gave him the opportunity to do that when the playoffs were still very much on the table.

Still referring to that incident as a "benching" is misleading. He was "replaced" --- by a player that didn't increase our success at the time. Had Hurts played so well that it was obvious he should have been the starter moving forward, then the move would be justified. Instead, we saw what happened and the outcome that resulted.

For what it's worth, I

liked him

as well.

The speed and

explosiveness he displayed

at Baylor were quite

remarkable.

Taken at 59, I thought

he was a hell of a value,

especially considering he was highly

regarded as a potential first round prospect.

Supposedly, he will be released

at the end of the season

regardless of his career being in such an

early stage.

Maybe he can go

on to another team where he can

really showcase his skills

on a team with a good QB.  A

nice change of

scenery may be exactly what he needs.

Couldn’t stand him as a prospect.  Virtually no route tree, rounded routes (banana routes - love the Sirianni term), questionable hands.  Straight line speed is not enough.  He will be out of the league before his second contract if he doesn’t go the Watkins route and really work in the offseason to improve his game. Even then, his hands may not save him.

Well Hurts came in and instantly moved the offense against Green Bay.  Then the next game in his first start he beats what was at the time the top seed in the NFC.  So it looked like he was increasing our chances and success at the time.

People around here forget how bad Wentz was last season.

I think you missed the true message.

He is still in the league?   Injuries seem to have taken a toll with him. Divas have to perform or they become burdens.

OBJ will have to go through waivers , so he will end up on some bottom feeder , and won’t be happy

Why would a team pick him up if they're not competitive? KC would be a good fit for him.

I thought I got both of them.

Four more games of full snaps to go for Wentz.  The icing will be him starting after the bye week.

They’re gonna make playoffs. Solid team.

I guess you missed the 11 minute video his dad posted of him being wide open but Baker unable to get him the ball. That pairing never made any sense from the get go.

I think OBJ is getting way overrated. He'll go somewhere but most teams aren't going to want the headache. They just saw him and his dad call out the QB and act like a diva. Teams trying to build a winning culture aren't going to want that..

Would Vegas go for OBJ after the Antonio Brown debacle? KC would make sense. NO had cursory trade talks.

My dark horse: Tennessee. Julio is constantly hurt and they don’t have any depth. They might as well lean into a pass heavy attack since the running game won’t be nearly as effective.

Adding good players helps you become competitive

As long as he doesn't come here, I am ok.

As for where he lands.

Yeah OAK might be a place.Atlanta, NO, and dont rule out the Rams, who are all in for a SB run.

No he doesn't, unless he signs a team friendly deal. All the CB's brought in would seem to indicate they aren't interested in re-signing him either.

Atlanta has cap problems and lack of talent problems, no chance he ends up there. It's likely NO, Rams, KC or LV. Apparently his dad has started following Carr on social media this morning, FWIW (nothing really).

Or he’s asking for too much money.

Wouldn't be shocked to see NE take a chance on him. Their WRs suck.  BB in the past has taken chances on Moss, Chad Johnson, Josh Gordon and Antonio Brown.

How rich would it be for the giants to claim him.  Can Snyder resist plucking him if they don’t?

AB was called a Diva, people said he was bad for culture, he was hated on by everyone. He is now a SB champion.

Does anyone claim him? His contract is huge. Not sure exactly how it works but I think if a team claims him they pick up his existing contract. If they don’t they can essentially pay him whatever. Not sure though.

That team was still winning without AB. And he knew the slightest slip up was getting him axed.

I saw lots of Eagles fans clamouring for Howie to trade for OBJ before the trade deadline. I pity them.

One issue holding the release up is the contract - the Browns don't want to eat the money and let another team get a good deal. Could be a contract restructure coming to facilitate the release.

Ok and?

He also went to the Raiders and caused a circus. Then went to NE and again was a distraction.

Tom Brady likes AB and has put a lot of work into him to stop him being a complete ahole. Anyone who willingly wants AB in their home is either mad or obsessed with winning.  Brady is the latter.
