He already was in 2017. And there are rumors he was last night but I can’t find any evidence of that.

Yeah all I've seen is that he is cooperating with local Police.

And at which point does a city say enough is enough and hold him accountable.

I remember when I was in high school Ac/dc came to salt lake city and somebody died at their concert from crush injuries, city tried to say ac/DC knew people were in danger and kept playing and tried to charge the band with something, charges never stuck and AC/DC vowed to never come back to SLC which sucked for me as they are my favorite band.

Like I said when it happens once it can be chalked up as an accident but when it keeps happening somethings not right and needs to change.

David Bell is good. He's going to be projected as a 2nd rounder in a ton of mocks.

I can't hate Eric Bruntlett.  He scored the winning run in Game 5 of the 2008 WS.   He pinch ran for Pat Burrell in the 7th inning.   Burrell got a double to lead off, Bruntlett came in to run.  Moved to third on a ground out, scored on single by Pedro Feliz!   I cannot hate either one, even though that was easily their high water marks with the team.  That was a heck of a high water mark... and I will forever remember.

Can't hate Geoff Jenkins or Jayson Werth either, as they basically did the same as Burrell, Bruntlett and Feliz did, but did it in the 6th inning (aka, the 1st inning of the 'restart' of Game 5 after the 2 day rain delay).  Jenkins doubled to lead off, moved to the third on a ground out and Werth brought him in with a single.

Eagles are 13th in ppg.

13th in yards per play.

20th in net yards per pass play, 4th in yards per rush.

16th in expected points.

This despite Hurt's growing pains, a young WR group, and an ever changing cast of OL.

With the toughest part of the schedule behind them, the OL jelling, these numbers should improve the rest of the season.

Not bad for a rookie HC with a lot of question marks on offense.

If that's the score... when does Minshew check in to the game?

Heck of a throw by Levis

Lol Levis for the td

@LeanMeanGM I want to apologize for last night. I did get defensive and that wasn’t cool. I had no reason to react to that question the way that i did. My bad.

Yep. But you loved Jim Eisenrich didn’t you?

I liked eisenrich’s story and how he dealt with Tourette’s. Was more of a kruk fan during that time. I had a Greg jefferies jersey my grandmother bought me before i moved out to Arizona. First jersey i ever bought for myself was actually a Mike lieberthal jersey.

I couldn’t stand him. I tried but there was just something about him i just couldn’t stand. I never hated werth. I understood why he left. I’d leave too if i was getting offered that.

my two favorite Phillies memories was going to nlcs game that victorino hit the 2 run bomb and then stairs hit the homer that put the absolute dagger and shut up every dodgers fan. The following year went game one where Ibanez hit a homer and then they lost game two where Martinez pitched a gem. Some fat dbag dodgers fan was talking crap when my friend Leo and I were leaving. I looked back pointed to the World Series champions shirt and was like 1988 was a long time ago bro.

Liberthal never lived up to the hype I thought.  Not the same era.  But I was so hyped for Ricky Jordan.  I thought he was cool.  Another guy who flamed out.

Kevin stocker was similar. Hyped up and never really lived up to that hype. I remember the Travis Lee trade when i was living out in Arizona, every diamondbacks fan was thrilled to get rid of him. And Omar daal. What an awful trade

Stocker was never really hyped up.  He was just a legitimate fielder at SS, something that the 1993 desperately needed, because SS was just a hole defensively.  He was brought up as a rookie and excelled in the field, in comparison, and he hit better than expected at first, so people got excited that he could be more than the original bar set for him.  But, the hype was not because of his talent, but because of fans and more so, media types, were wishcasting their over zealous hopes on to him.

I was young. 8 at the time of that 1993 series. i just remember fans after 93 thought he was going to be the next big thing at SS for the Phillies. Then came some dark times after that season

i give credit to Ed Wade he gets destroyed by a lot of fans but he did a good job with the farm system to bring in some of the guys he did  he also did it in houston with some help  never got to see it til the end and the next GM takes over and wins a WS. the Phillies badly need someone to build up their farm. The Phillies aren’t LA but you are spending money but the dodgers don’t just spend they draft and develop and spend. You can’t just do it just spending. I’d feel bad for harper if he wasn’t making an insane amount of money but they are gonna wind up wasting his career

Because a lot of fans lose their minds with young players.  Frankly, he played over his level in '93 (but really only for a short stretch) and morons saw his hot streak and believed that was his 'potential'.  It wasn't.

This 6ers team is awesome. They already beat Chicago last week short handed. Now, even more short handed with more guys out due to covid they actually have won the 1st quarter.

With Simmons out, they are legitimately just taking that next man up attitude. They are sharing the ball, and just shocking everyone.

Its so nice tonight the annoying lady must be doing a football game again. Same as last saturday we have McGinnis on TV.

It’s all good. If we all agreed on everything it would be a boring place. I wasn’t trying to come off like a D or put out a "gotcha” question so my bad if it came off that way.

I’m really hoping some team gets desperate nearing the all star break and gives up something valuable to acquire Simmons. With how well the sixers are playing they can play the long game with dealing Simmons. Spurs, Minnesota and Portland look to be on track. I’m guessing the kings get to that point. If they were floundering i think more people would be killing morey for waiting

I give sixers and morey a ton of credit that curry for Richardson looks like an absolute homerun. They also killed it with getting maxey where they did. Also niang. Also got rid of horford and even with green not being what he was last year unloading horford was a good move in general. However i think whoever took over would’ve done.

Martin Jones looks great for the flyers this year. Didn’t expect that. He’s been mediocre and then bad the last two years

IMO, the 6ers winning has salvaged what leverage they already had, in getting fair offers for Simmons.

I dont think winning increases his value for us, because he is what he is. I dont think we get better than Brogdon and a 1st. Or, something on that same level now that Brogdon is no longer an option.

They took a risk that if we lost a bunch of games already, teams would vies us as more desperate to bring in re-inforcements to salvage our season and his value then decreases. The Brogdon level offers go away and we get worse offers.

I know its fun to watch Simmons go back to getting fined for his faked mental health shennanigans. But, dragging this on any longer does not help the team. And it only puts a lesser product on the floor for the fans. The team is really fun right now seeing them beat everyone while short handed. But as good as they have been playing, cant help but think how much better they could have been with Brogdon, or that level player added to this.

I think its beyond time to take a fair offer and strengthen this really good looking team. Im no longer amused by spiting Simmons because I want to move forward with what makes more basketball sense.

Not gonna get a superstar. Waiting doesnt change that. All it does is give them the same excuse from the last 2 years. Wait till the deadline and then they say we have no chemistry with the late trade, these guys havent played together very much. I dont want to hear it again. I want the guy in here now being part of this chemistry the team has.
