That call lavine got just a min ago was so such a soft foul. Thought you couldn't do that this year

The Bulls are only in this game because we cant defend without fouling. Their calls are legit. But the refs arent giving us anything either.

DeRozan got a 4 point play. Furkan was fouled on his 3. No call.

Then Chicago likely goal tended. No call. No replay on the telecast....

Lead is down to 7.

Embiid had 2 points last quarter and sat for a long time this quarter. Now we have to hope he catches fire. Probably unlikely. Hes currently very out of the flow of the game.

Of note in a game that could get close, Drummond and Niang have 5 fouls. Paul Reed has 4.

7-0 Bulls run. No timeout by Doc. Curry turned it over forcing it to Embiid in traffic.

3 by LaVine. Now trail by 1. Doc sucks.

Doc needs to go. Promote Cassell

6 turnovers for Embiid. Chicago as a team has 9.

Unfortunately he will never be held responsible for this game considering who we have available to play...

Its not just this game…far from it

Embiid hit a mid range. up 2.

Kork for 3! Lead back to 5!

correct.

Niang with a HUGE 3. 5 point game again with 1:21 to go.

I wanted cassell to be the coach before they hired doc. I think he’s going to be a good coach. I believe he knows how to relate to the players and he’s a former guard. won a title so he knows what it takes from the guard position and to win a title.

Embiid seals the deal with a 3.

What a gutty win.

8 players played. 7 in double figures.

Embiid the only starter to make a 3. Not even Curry hit one.

Niang cold for past 2 games but hit one at a huge moment.

Furk with 25 off the bench. 7-9 from 3. He is the reason we won.

Maxey 10 points, 8 assists and 1 turnover. Wish he provided more of a scoring spark, but best assist game of his career and 8:1 assist to turnover ratio is fantastic.

They had no business even being in this game tonight. Let alone winning.

It got close. Doc looked dumb for a minute. But this was an awesome win.

Yes a poor game , struggling against a bad team , he’s raw , he is a cpl years from starting in the NFL ,  he does nothing for me

Nah it wasn’t a poor game. He played well look at the numbers. Is he NFL ready? Heck no but let’s not act like he doesn’t have nfl talent he does.

I added him to the round 2 tier.

I wonder what round Glass will go.

Yeah Sounds about right. Depending on how the rest of this season goes he may even get to the 1st round. He’s raw but he clearly has talent. Needs to sit a year or so but he could be a better passing version of Lamar Jackson.

sorry for all the 6ers PBP. 4for4 asked for it. As a pillar of the blog, I was compelled to provide.

short handed and Embiid still isn’t 100 percent. The bench has been awesome. Can’t remember the last time Sixers bench was this good.

Also Seth Curry has been great as the third scoring option. He didn’t have a great night tonight but if he continues to play at a high level the Sixers are dangerous

He really should be the 2nd scoring option on this team. But Im not sure if Doc will ever figure it out. Even tonigth with Harris out, he only got 11 shots. We dont run anything purposeful for him to get shots. We should be, a lot. He should be 2nd option, and Harris should be 3rd.

So Henry Ruggs. He was drinking and driving. That’s a problem. He’s an idiot. But the fact that a car can get to 156 mph is a problem too. No one EVER needs to reach that speed. There needs to be something in a street legal car that doesn’t let it go over 90. That girl would be alive if he didn’t drink and drive but she would also be alive if a that car didn’t let him make that god awful decision. That family should sue that car company for as much as they can get.

Really cool that this group of players still shot over 53% from the field, and Chicago only shot 40% on their home court.

The real story of how the game was as close as it was, was that these backups unfortunately couldnt defend without fouling. We sent Chicago to the line 30 times, of which they made 24. And we only made 15, out of 19.

Chicago was only in the game because of FTs. Otherwise, they were completely dominated by a team mostly of bench players, and probably about 85% of Embiid.

Tom McGinnis should be the guy

Totally agree. Never was a big Harris fan and still don’t think he was worth the max deal he got but he’s solid. Niang has been worth every Penny so far. So rounding Embiid with shooters is working out so far. I’d trade Simmons for a gritty rebounding defending PF.

Well, thats an interesting one. I guess we can all sue since our cars can all drive over 90mph.

I cant imagine Chevy losing that one. Especially when you knowingly buy a Corvette full well knowing its capabilities. Its not like he bought a Chevy Aveo and it accidentally malfunctioned and went faster than it was designed to go.
