Well, thats an interesting one. I guess we can all sue since our cars can all drive over 90mph.

I cant imagine Chevy losing that one. Especially when you knowingly buy a Corvette full well knowing its capabilities. Its not like he bought a Chevy Aveo and it accidentally malfunctioned and went faster than it was designed to go.

Actually you’re right on that. Just like a gun, someone gets drunk and kills someone, the gun company isn’t at fault. It just blows my mind that a car can go that fast. It pushed her 571 feet, almost 2 football fields. A gun has a purpose. A car going 156 miles per hour has no purpose.

Average arm talent would be okay, but I am not sure they can coach quicker reads into Hurts. He is too slow to pull the trigger.

I know you were on the fence before with Hurts, what changed your mind here?

Well, its not even designed to be a daily driver. It has 2 seats. You cant drive a family. And storage space is lacking, especially if you have the convertible, where you lose the storage space behind you. All you have then is the frunk in that case.

Its 2 real purposes are leisure, or exciting entertainment in which case you should be taking it to a track.

You know whats a real death trap? The Tesla model S Plaid. With 0-60 in 1.99 seconds and 200mph capability. Its like 4 times heavier than the corvette capable of those speeds, and faster acceleration. On top of that, its dangerously under-braked, and the steering gets incredibly heavy. I have been enamoured by tesla and their cool acceleration ability. I thought this plaid was going to be awesome. But I dont even want one if given to me for free. No other aspect of the car's performance is safely equipped to keep up with its speed.

Car companies build pride on speed. I get the track, some cars should be track only, not street legal. It’s honestly a problem. Just like drinking and driving is stupid. Going high speeds in little time is stupid. It’s overlooked though.

That Tesla is crazy dangerous based on what you just told me. What is the need for that?

Pickett’s stock will keep rising after today; Willis will keep tumbling with 3 more picks and a fumble

I dont know.... Id have a blast if I wanted to pass someone on the interstate. That kind of pickup would be awesome to have. I also live in a development where the exit is on a major highway (rt.309) and to go in to down you are turning uphill on the side of a mountain. People are coming around a cuve at 60-65mph often, where the speed limit is 40. And Im just getting going. Id really appreciate a vehicle with sport car type acceleration. Ive had a jeep compass in the past which had no get up at all and it was scary sometimes. I had a kia optima that traction control would kick in and actually temporarily cut power to my engine if the tires spun even a bit. That created some scary scenarios too.

Id love to go overboard on acceleration rather than the situations I have been in with the exact opposite. Im happy with my CX-5 now, but Id love to eventually have something far quicker.

But.... getting it down to 1.99 seconds in a car too heavy, and fast for its brakes, and a power steering system that cant keep up.... its just ridiculous that engineers for such a brilliant company allowed this to go in to production. These guys do awesome reviews. I trust them, and this isnt good.

Pederson.

And yes, he was wrong about Doug.

iPhone autocorrecting proper nouns makes no sense, at all. I definitely wrote Doug’s name correctly.

You’re right. His exact statement went way too far and was wrong. I’d argue the thought behind it (Pederson didn’t deserve to get a head coaching job) was accurate.

So after watching that, my conclusion is that it’s the Reagor of cars

Carson Strong or Pickett if we're destined to draft someone.

Zero interest in anyone else. Maybe, MAYBE Corral.

Those three are my favorites, but I’m old and always lean towards the the bigger guys, that stay in the pocket and that’s Strong.

Also the kid from Stanford is going to get a serious look if comes out, he’s 6’6” 230 has a great arm, but this is his first year starting because he did a 2 year mission in South America.  If he stays in school for 2022, he’s got a shot to be a top 10 pick in 2023.

Speaking of Strong, as I’m watching him now, he’s not the most mobile which I already knew but his leg seems to really be bugging him and he’s known for having a bad knee which will definitely hurt his draft position.

Feeling more and more like a win tomorrow.

Sorry if this was already posted:

I thought the kid was super quiet but he’s the loudest one out there (half joking as it’s obvious since he mic’d). Surprised me though.

A win tomorrow would be big for this young team but I don’t see it happening

Strong struggling tonight as well. My top 3 are Pickett, Corral, Strong but this list keeps getting smaller. I used to have a top 5. It’s looking like only one will be worth a 1st rounder and either grab them or trust the process.

That sums up how he was moving tonight, ugh.

I got the S with ludicrous a couple years ago.  I still never even use that mode.  No interest in killing myself or anyone else.  I love everything about the car though, although I’m not a car guy.

From Lance Zierlein after this game, scout for NFL Media:

Corral plays with excellent ball-handling and has a more efficient release that allows him to get the ball out quickly. He could play in any passing scheme, but an offense that emphasizes the quick game, RPOs and a timing-based passing attack seem to make the most sense for him. I see a player with similar setup and release quickness to Zach Wilson when he was coming out of BYU last season.

Looks like the kind of QB Lowie would want.

Too early to compare him to a 1st year QB. I think Wilson has a bigger arm as well.

I'm still comparing him to a younger Andy Dalton. Ran the RRO's well. Good enough speed to do it. decent zip but not a ton of power behind it. Close to the same build as well.

I only have 2 on my list I would even consider which is Pickett and Corral. However to me Pickett is way ahead of Corral for me. I think he has a better arm and I like the fact that he doesnt get jumpy in the pocket when it closes. Hes mobile enough to extend plays but hes looking downfield at all times as hes doing it. Pickett is more my style NFL QB. Maybe a little more 10 years ago traditional, but I dont believe in these newer style running QBs the NFL wants now.

Disagree.

I got my shoes tied tight

I hope I don't get in a fight

I would definitely use that mode a few times when showing someone my new car.  If they wanted to experience that.

I'd take it to a a large enough empty lot, or a straight road outside of town where there is no chance of pedestrian crossing.

I never heard of issues with that car not being equipped to handle it though.

The plaid, on the other hand,  is an accident waiting to happen.

What a night for UFC , awesome fights , even better outcomes for me , both Chandler and Covington took the L

Saying a car should only go so fast , is like saying a gun should only fire so many bullets  , the car and the gun aren’t the problem , the idiots in control of them are .

All that talent on both sides of the ball for PS , there should be no reason they lose more than one game . I’m looking at you Franklin

yeah.

Good breakdown.

I'm pretty confident will like Corral. Unlike Wilson, he's tough and his teammates don't hate him.
