Edwards has great instincts, but lacks speed, but with the right safeties and OLBs, his deficiencies can be covered and his virtues emphasized.

They have a stable of young athletic DBs, but we're talking 2022 or 2023. The DL is paper thin, and so on.

Gannon called a terrible game.  Refused to be creative in any way to create pressure on Herbert.  The amount of space underneath is pathetic.  Another QB completing 80% of passes is unbelievable.  The talent isn't great but the scheme is 1000% worse.  He should be fired, honestly.  Even crap teams like the Lions, Jaguars and Texans don't allow teams to complete 80% of their passes.  It's a joke to defend him at this point.  What is it, more than 50% of the QBs we've face completed 80% or better?  Defend something worth defending.  Not Gannon.  He is a travesty.  80%!!  Once in a season is wild, half the season?  He S-U-C-K-S.

I think Siri has proved he can adjust now. He is progressing. He will be back. He still has the team fighting. He needs an experienced DC though. 

Gannon can’t be compared to Schwartz because his D line had one job, get the QB, now they cover screens and guys like Sweat are playing out of position.  His defenses got to the QB, Gannons don’t.  Eagles were top 3 in QB pressures last year, what are they this year 25th?  Worse?  
 Play cover 2 all you want, but if you aren’t going to at least pressure the QB, then you get record completion % against your defense.

He has Barnett dropping in coverage against TE.  What an idiot.

Multiple QBs have had CAREER games against us this year. Herbert, Carr. Mahomes is struggling this year and lit us up.

JJ used to drop a DE every once in a while on a corner blitz or the like, but to just drop the DE to cover a TE without sending pressure is beyond stupid.

Obviously it sucks to lose a winnable game but I'm not actually that pissed. At least the team showed me something in this loss. This was a respectable team and I could at least see there's some direction and hope that things can get better. Of course there's stuff to work on but at least there's something to work with as well.

The Eagles most likely beat the Chargers, Raiders, and MAYBE the Chiefs (it would have been way closer) with a competent DC. That’s 5-4 or 6-3. Hurts isn’t our long term QB but can win games. Siri is progressing. Gannon shouldn’t be let in the building tomorrow.

It depends on the ref and how much leash they want to give. This shouldn’t be a penalty imo. It’s within 3 yards.

By rule, 1 yard is a penalty. And if you look at our 2017 run with Foles there’s times Kelce or someone else was close to 5 yards and not getting called.

49ers are terrible. I’m fairly confident we would win that game if we played them again.
