Just saw a headline that read "Is Kamaru Usman the best male fighter on the planet?”

Does whoever wrote that think there might be some chicks who can beat him up?

If one of my friends were that stupid, I’d still be too pissed at them a week later to feel sadness. Take your emotional intelligence somewhere else, Sally Sensitive.

If a family member or very close friend did something horrific that took the life of someone and also threw the life of your friend/close friend away then your emotions would be all over the place.

For DeVonta to have the game that he did is impressive.

As of this week the Eagles now hold the #3, 7, and 14 overall picks in the draft

You’re so emotionally intelligent you are able to tell me what my own emotions would be. I hereby nominate RTK the new Eagles head coach. We all know how much Lowie love EI.

I’m just surprised they aren’t afraid of being in the crosshairs of the liberal, woke mob when they assumed his gender.

Fire him now.

We knew what he had to work with was limited. That is why the ***** GM needs to resist using the draft capital on a QB next year and draft defense.

Hated him from SB 39 but Mike Vrabel is a damn good head coach.

They don’t have time; according to Aaron Rodgers the woke mob is too busy persecuting him.

Mercifully the AFC West will be finished with the Eagles defense next week:

Mahomes — 24/30, 278 yards, 5 TD/1 INT

Carr — 31/34, 323 yards, 2 TD/1INT

Herbert — 32/38, 356 yards, 2 TD/0 INT

That’s a combined 87/102 (87%) for 957 yards with 9 TD and 2 INT.  Placeholder Teddy can’t possibly throw for 85% and 300 yards next Sunday, can he??

That would be a tall ask, but on the flip side their D could hold Hurts to under 50% passing and 150 yards.

Was probably phrased that way because Amanda Nunes is probably the most dominant fighter in UFC history, and she’s a woman. So one can make the case that she’s the best fighter on the planet, but yes she’s obviously a woman who couldn’t compete against men. Would be similar to saying that Serena Williams is the best tennis player on the planet knowing she’d get worked by Novak Djokovic.

I do not understand this sentiment, at all. The offense is already 75% 1st or 2nd round picks. How much do you need to invest into offense just to make the QB look like he belongs, and why would you want to?

Thoughts on the game...

-- Seems like Sirianni has made major changes to the offense, scrapping a lot of the RPOs for a classic read-option and incorporating more plays under center. Added some QB draws today. All that running seemed to settle Hurts down in the passing game (after some terrible early throws to Goedert and Devonta) and resulted in some of his best throws of the season. Weak game on the stat sheet, but progress. Baby steps.

-- The Chargers were undermanned (underpersoned? Kidding...) at CB, but it was still nice seeing Devonta produce with such ease. After all these years, I think they finally got WR1 right on the nose.

-- 2021 Jordan Howard is the same as 2019 Jordan Howard. He needs to be the 1B when Sanders comes back. Don't wanna hear about how the game doesn't need Jordan Howards anymore or any of that BS. Dude moves the chains and makes everyone else's job easier.

-- QB efficiency against Gannon is the 2021 version of 2013-2015's "yards don't matter" Billy Davis squads. The net result wasn't terrible, but it was so frustrating to watch easy completion after easy completion once again. He came in preaching the same message Sirianni did about tailoring his scheme to his players, but he hasn't backed that up the way Sirianni has. Pisses me off, to he honest. (Side note: Dude's wife is a dime. Well done...)

I agree with almost everything, even with the net result not being terrible. However, this is the 2nd game we’ve let an offense not have a single punt. That’s so bad.

WTF is this? More completions to the left? How’s this possible?

He actually steps UP in the pocket, a normal  QB move, and yet it’s one of Hurts best passes this year with accuracy.

Hurts completed 11 passes and ran 10 times.  Running with the ball is not a special talent.  The QB’s job is to distribute the ball.  Smith and Goedert were the passing offense today; everyone else could have gone to sleep.  Meanwhile, Herbert completed passes to 9 (nine) different receivers.

I’d be curious to hear what Matt Miller believes Hurts has improved on since his first NFL start last season — I see nothing.  This is a quote from another national scribe who doesn’t follow the team at all.

People see a couple plays from one drive and get excited. Everyone has to have a take.

I blame Smith for these theories.  He make Hurts look so much better than he really is...which still isn't very good.  Without him running around wide open all of the time, there'd be no reason to tweet that idea.

The only thing "special " about him is he can run and once in a while complete a pass.

Special talents yet he ranked him outside his top 50 prospects and graded him as a bottom of round 2 player?

Gallup that plays for the Cowboys?

No thanks.....we know how that will work out.

But he also played for Colorado State.  I like then.  But it was pointed out to me earlier Mike Williams would be a better option if he makes it to FA.  Either way, need a good WR across from Smith and he isn't currently on the roster.

After today’s breakout performance Reagor is now on pace for 300 yards. Across a 17. Game. Season.

These are Riley Cooper type numbers, Cooper actually had a year with over 500 yards come to think of it. The fact a WR can play as many snaps as Reagor and have such terrible numbers is incredible. Just by default he should have more yards. I know Hurts has played really bad this year, but Reagor is putting up historically bad numbers for the amount of snaps he's played.

Nunes most dominant? I think khabib says otherwise , don’t get more dominant than 0 losses , Jon Jones was more dominant ,  GSP , she would be lucky to crack top 5

The Titans W last night pretty much ends a realistic Colts chance. Titans have too many easy games on their schedule to not go 4-4 given their talent level. Colts would then have to go 8-0 and to win the division. Even if the Colts make the playoffs, they're looking at multiple road playoff games. Good for pick maximization. 👍

It's confusing for sure.  Seems like people will go to hell and back to defend Hurts and I'm not sure why.  What are his special talents?  Running the ball?  He's proven nothing in the NFL as far as being a good quarterback.

It's bad when on the broadcast, Charles Davis says the Eagles look better because Sirianni decided to go away from what the Eagles do poorly which is throwing the ball down the field.  That should be a talent a QB has.  Hurts doesn't have that.  Heck, he couldn't get a 15 yard pass to Smith in the endzone and Smith look very frustrated by that.

Has Miller noticed the lack of talent on defense?  That's where the 1st round picks really need t go.  I want Hurts to be the guy, it would help solve the problems here but he hasn't shown that he is anything close to being the guy.

Yep. The 700 yards over three seasons in Philly is the kinda stuff legends are made of.
