I don't know that he'll get quite that much, but yeah, we likely can't afford him either way.

Corey Davis got $12.5 and Golladay got $18 APY both in a COVID reduced cap. He's already making over $15.5 on his 5th year option this year. That's was I was basing my guess on, slightly above what he's already making.

He's also a QB to keep you in NFL purgatory.  They will never be in Lions territory because he can make plays with his legs, but they will never get over the hump because he is what he is.  If you want to be a mediocre football team, Hurts is the guy to have.

I don't think there's a such thing as QB purgatory.  Top picks and QBs can be traded for or signed, the bigger issue is improper evaluation of your QB talent vs. what is available and the strength of the roster.  This mediocre to fringe playoff team with a good to great QB.  This team isn't a contender with the talent on the roster.  They need to utilize picks to build up roster talent before wasting too many resources on a QB.

He definitely twists his ankle down around the 7sec mark. If he didn't his body wouldn't need to roll like it did.

To me, that looks like the defender is trying to roll out.  I dunno, just how I see it.

Just my view of him. He comes off very pro Hurts.

He's defensive of Hurts and to some extent the Eagles.  It's probably a burner account for Doug.

Williams will definitely get a huge contract, likely from the Chargers.

What I mean is he's not good enough to make the Eagles a great team but he's good enough to win some games, thus keeping them in that pick 14-17 range every year.

Jalen Reagor probably favorited this tweet though:

This franchise is either cursed or more likely they just bring it onto themselves. Gruden, Antonio Brown, these recent draft picks, arrests, etc are all recent examples of the worst run franchise in the NFL IMO

I don't like the notion that a physical slug needs to play opposite a light WR.  The Eagles carried that with them for years in the post-AR era.  Separation opposite separation is the real matchup problem.  Just because Reagor sucks, don't let that fool you about the fit.

The best WR corps we saw here...TO and Pinkston, both could separate and stretch the field, Maclin and Jackson.  Look at AR in KC with Hill/Watkins (when he was there)/Hardman.

A slug is a slug.  If you want size and physicality, just lineup your TE's out wide.  It messes with the personnel that the defense has to put on the field.  With the game play in the NFL these days, there is no role for a 6'3" WR who runs like a TE and still blocks like a WR.  Either gets a WR that flat out separates or get a TE that blocks and flat out separates against LBs.

I think when we have a 6’7”:TE that weighs 249 and runs the 40 in the 4.5s that the need for a taller WR is diminished.  Watkins and Smith are both 6’.

Such a baller throw. And what in the heck was McLeod doing here?

Unbelievable throw from one side of the field to the other and hitting his wide receiver

I think McLeod was rolling with the QB then herbert planted and threw a rope opposite side, great throw.

I'll Always appreciate mcleod for 2017 but his pop up turkey timer popped a while ago.

Boy Ruggs is getting a lot of pitty and support for a guy who killed someone…

I posted here this morning what Ruggs did would've been swept under the rug if it wasn't such a horrific crash and  witnessed by people who tried to save that poor young lady. He would've gotten a slap on the wrist. The media buried the story quick, and even lied he tried to help free her from her car. Friends have told me there's video after the crash and Ruggs didn't try to help. He didn't even want to deal with the medical workers, and screamed get me the F outta here.

He’s gotta have some awareness of the receiver running right past him. Bad stuff.

Yeah that was a bad play by an experienced player no doubt.

There’s video out on Twitter of his gf just sitting on the curb watching the blaze and he’s going into his car looking for something

Williams took a half-step to the corner route and McLeod turned his hips to jump that route.  QB motion and WR false step to the corner ate his lunch there.

If you had to pick one for our team next year who would you choose?  Disregard expected salaries

Mike Williams

Courtland Sutton

Allen Robinson

Chris Godwin

DJ Chark

He jumped the S out of that. Meanwhile Slay gets ripped because the single high safety help was nowhere to be found.

Such is life for a corner, I suppose.

Devonta Smith, Landon Dickerson, Milton Williams + Miami 1st round pick in 2022. That's phenomenal work by Howie & his team. I know, I know...

No I don't think that's Ruggs. Ruggs is on the floor next to his girlfriend in hysterics. At least I think that's what it is.
