He’s had at least 3 I’ve heard him kill. Problem is their LT position is brutal until fisher comes back. Davenport really shouldn’t be out there. He’s bad bad. Nelson i think is fine once he gets more reps. He had the same injury as Carson and missed nearly a month. I’m more surprised the right side of the line has been a disaster. Like on this 2 point conversion no one blocked 2 defenders on the right side.

I’ll take it either way. Even in second half of games doug wouldn’t commit to running. I think the plan was always exploit the atlanta pass defense. Get a lead then begin to wear on their DLine.

I think he's falling into the classic trap... just trying to ensure that he wins this first game.  Fortunately, the Falcons are not good.  It will likely work well.

Its much easier to commit to the run, when you are in the lead by 2 scores.   Just sayin'.

True but there’s been times over the last 3 years we’ve had leads and just not done it. I’d point to the Carolina game with a 17 point lead

I'm surprised their OL has been that bad overall.  LT is the issue, but the right side should be better than that
