Anyone who has passed judgement on Hurts after 6 games, and under 2 coaches, is premature to do so.  I’m rooting for him because it would be better to use those picks in other areas….but let’s wait until teams have a good amount of film on him with this coach.

He gets an A from me today for sure

Everyone is in such a hurry.  We have 16 games left

B+.

He will have to push the ball down the field to earn an A.  Today was mostly dump offs, swing passes and screens.

I thought he had another season in him. But he might just be done tbh. They restructured his contract so he’s there at least through 2022 or they have to eat a bunch of dead money.

He looks done , if not for that contract , he wouldn’t be there today

His throw to Ertz was pretty bad. Probably his longest throw in the air as well. He’s doing well, but I want to see bombs. 😞

We saw those last year from him. Might just not be the gameplan.  Colts offense the last couple years was a lot of short throws to setup run after the catch.

The bigger issue is they have Ridley. Pitts is still a rookie. As much praise as pitts gets from people, rookie tight ends very rarely have seasons where they just dominate. It’s why i brought up the ditka stat. The rest of the offense isn’t that good for atlanta. They have a below average line, Russell gage is not that good and Mike davis is really a backup not a starter.

Yea. Curious to see Ridley this year. Defenses will shade to him now.

Tough day for the Hurts haters in here.  Guess we’ll have to wait a little while longer for Minshew

I think Falcons last year were much better than their record showed. They were terrible at closing out games.

Eh i think their pass defense was always really bad. A lot of their games Ryan would lead them back down the field and score touchdowns after falling behind by 10-14. K think the difference this year is new coach and system. Add on i think his oline is still not good. And now he’s a year older. I like Kyle pitts but i said during the draft they should’ve drafted sewell cause their line was bad. Pitts is a nice playmaker but it’s harder to incorporate him when you can’t block

was a pleasure not seeing the DB's giving up 3rd and forevers today , cya schwartz and don't come back ever

Jalen hurts has had a really really nice day...  very, very encouraging...  but, we need to see it consistently, and against better competition...

Thank God we have a coach who let's some kids play rather than continually forcing Ward and Scott onto the field.

Even Bacarty?

If they are a good team, they should dominate a weaker team.   They really did that in the second half.  The first half was much more balanced.  Really comes down to Red Zone efficiency there.  Since the opening kickoff of the 2nd half, the Eagles dominated all 3 phases of the game.

Sure, but Bad teams can dominate bad teams. Look at Texans against Jax today. There’s plenty of things to clean up as well. I don’t want to be fooled into thinking Eagles are going to be contending against good teams just because they beat up the Falcons.

Reagor 6 rec, 49 yds and a TD

I’m an easy grader 😂

He opened on the road with no preseason action…threw 3 tds and didn’t turn it over.  Nice runs.  Very solid

I know it was the Falcons but there are so many positives from the game.

We have a ton of young talent on offense. All developing at the same time.

Reagor scoring is probably huge for his confidence.

Idk julio missed a ton of time last year. He still killed it. I think the bigger issue is the Falcons oline is not good and Ryan seems to have regressed even from last year. Maybe Ryan regains what he was last year but he really didn’t look good all game. Credit the eagles defense for handling their business.

Hurts looking awesome  , I think some may have past judgment a little too soon , you know who you are

of course Reagor is on my bench ff

I'll raise my hand, still need to see more obviously but, so far so good.

absolutely true.   I was trying to be optimistic.   If the Eagles are 'real'... then this would be the expected outcome.  Granted, the Falcons might end up the worst team in the league.

As for this FG... why not just go for it on 4th and try to end the game that way?

That’s why i really look forward to that niners game. I’m higher than a lot on the niners. I think if Jimmy g stays healthy they are easily a playoff team.

Yes…agreed.  For all we know at this point, we couldn’t just beat the worst team in the league this year
