Can't argue against a thing he said.  He didn't play well for the Eagles last year and has really upped his game in Indy.

This makes me glad that I don't live in a crappy neighborhood to need something like this.

So you think people rob "crappy" neighborhoods?

Gee thanks, there’s hardly a crappy neighborhood in Lewes. They’re great dogs, dumb as a bag of hammers, but very obedient  gentle, with family and people she knows.

I think I read your post wrong. I thought you lived in a bad neighborhood because it seemed like you and your neighbors had all this firepower for home invasions, and I assumed it was just something that happened all the time.

They are great dogs. Not ones to play frisbee with, though. And the poops, my god!

I don't know. The only time I ever had that problem (and I did not personally have that problem, it was a person that I know that lived a couple of streets over) was when I was living in Neptune, NJ and that was a hell hole back then.

Every other place I have lived in I have never had that problem nor has anyone that I know within the community. Maybe I have been lucky?

I'll just say that in my mind it wouldn't make sense to rob people with no money, but I have never robbed anyone so.........................

The Panthers had an easy opportunity to rebuild last year...and tried to win right away. Why?

Desperate people with no money will rob anyone.  They aren't assuming that everyone in their neighborhood is as broke or desperate as they are.  Another man's trash....

They will rob anyone but not rob you? I've never been robbed but my wife and son and neighbor had a druggie banging on their door at 2:00 in the morning when I was on a moose hunt. Called the State Police who showed up 2 1/2 hrs later.

Going all in on that 7th seed.

The most paranoid people when it comes to crime, tend to be the ones least likely to experience it.

In upper middle class neighborhoods, the primary threat is local kids breaking into cars, professional burglars are careful to case houses b/c the last thing they want is anyone home.

The people in real danger from crime are in low income areas where the proportion of predators is much higher, and the police are less motivated to catch them - a suburban police chief who is complacent about crime will soon be an ex-chief, given his relative edge in resources (police and money per citizen) and relative lack of perps (more resources to pursue convictions). In a bad area of a big city, the difficulty of solving a property crime (finding witnesses with enough trust in the police to confide in them) and the high level of violent crime, makes it far less likely that a perp will be caught and prosecuted.

Though the one issue which is unacceptable is the existence of rape kits that have yet to be examined for DNA - any law and order politician who doesn't find the funding to end that backlog should be recalled - because it only takes money, and getting the DNA of perps into data bases is the best way to catch and stop serial rapists.

My favorite dog for home protection is the Rottie. All the bad guys have seen The Omen, so they think Rotties are fiends from hell. In fact they are big goofs. Properly trained, you can't get an animal that is funnier, more loyal, and affectionate. Their favorite thing in life is just to lean against you.

They can be very scary, and dangerous if not properly raised, but if you put in the time, they're just great, and owning a dog like that, you are obligated to put in the time.

The point of course, is simply that drafting a QB high isn't a sure bet to get a franchise QB, you're more likely to get a QB who's not even in the top 20.

If you draft a QB later... it's a much surer bet that you won't get a franchise QB and your more likely to a QB that not even close to top 20.

If this is all about the odds, the odds are much higher to get a better QB earlier than later in the draft.  That's not even something that can be debated.  Historically, QBs taken in the top 10-15 picks do better than all other spots in the draft combined.  Yes, the odds there aren't great, but they are way better than waiting.

I think their belief is their defense is playoff caliber (hard to argue when healthy they aren’t) and if they had a good QB along with moore, Anderson, mccaffrey along with tremble and Marshall coming along they could be a playoff team. I think they are an oline and QB away. I liked horn a lot in the draft but thought the panthers should’ve tried to trade down to get someone like slater and get a few extra picks. I still think horn winds up being really good but after dealing for Gilmore they kind of have an overkill at corner in bouye, Gilmore, donte jackson and horn and their oline is bad like last year.

You just don't like Hurts.

Your man crush Howie does not like him either.  Eagles have been connected to Watson this year, Wilson and Rodgers next year.  Rumors about trading up to get Zach Wilson, and now Howie is going to scout 2022 QB's in person.
