You might be fine with that, but Seattle won't be.

Our 3 first will literally be the starting point, going to have to throw in more picks or players on top of that.

Then it shouldn't happen.  I still think Wilson has at least 5 good years left but he's still 32 about to be 33.  I could understand giving up three 1sts if he were younger, maybe 25, 26, 27 years old and didn't have a big contract.

Any team that gives up three 1sts plus more is out if their mind.  Not to mention you'd have to take on his contract as well.  I don't see anyone making that trade.

In the NFC it's between TB, GB, Arizona and Dallas.

I think it depends on how realistically close to a SB you think you are. The broncos are a team i think who’d make that type of deal. You out Wilson in for bridgewater with Sutton, fant, jeudy and Williams that’s a really good offense with Russell Wilson. I’m guessing fangio believes with his coaching and secondary talent that their defense is playoff caliber.

Does anyone have a list of players that Howie drafted and made the Pro-Bowl as an Eagle?

Crazy.

I think the Rams vs. GB game and the second cardinals game in a few weeks is going to tell you a lot about the rams in terms of contender. They whooped the Bucs. But then got whooped by the cardinals. I think the rams are better than Dallas though. Dallas has better QB and offensive skill position talent but i think the rams defense is much better than Dallas’.

if we were ranking them right now I’d go 1. Packers (if rodgers is playing) 2. Tampa bay 3. Rams 4. Dallas 5. Cardinals (Murray’s health scares me. If he was fully healthy and Hopkins were too I’d have them higher)

Wow that’s impressive. My back hurt yesterday from sleeping wrong and i ****ed about it.

Hutchinson is a legit stud. Warranted top 5 pick.

I believe it's just Fletcher Cox and Carson Wentz.

Yea, he's one of those guys I'd love to have.  Really need to hope the Dolphins don't crank out a few more wins here.  Geez Ravens, how hard is it for you to beat them?

There are quite a few legit studs in positions of need for the Eagles in the draft which means the chances the Eagles actually get one are pretty low.

Thought Schwartz totally misused Douglas here, he'd probably be a good fit with Gannon.

The Dolphins upcoming schedule is Jets, Panthers, Giants, bye week then Jets again, so it's very likely they will win at least two more games.

There are 4 legit top 10 pick worthy DL and 2-3 Top 10 DBs.

Even if Fins rack up a few wins, we still should be in a good place spot wise.

After that it's up to Howie as to whether or not he trusts the draft board or goes rogue.

Who are we giving credit for lane and ertz? I’m not defending howie but they did make the pro bowl. The issue is more recently since howie came back in 2016 he’s only drafted one in wentz who’s now gone

I saw a tweet saying Packers HC wanted OBJ but the FO lowballed him

I completely forgot about those two. So yeah it's 3 offensive players and 1 defensive player in the past 9 years. Not much better.

Sincerely don't know how anyone that isn't blatantly trolling can defend Howie Roseman.

Then again, the biggest cheerleader will sing his praises yet also criticize the team for having no talent.

Gee, wonder why?

For some, the fact that we won a Superbowl under him will always give him a certain level of cache and support not matter what.

Then there's a segment that believes he's merely a front man for Lurie and is just doing what he is told.

And finally you have the blatant homers, who support him no matter what.

You don't need to really qualify it as trouble drafting defense.. its drafting in general.

On the Eagles roster right now are TWO players that the Eagles drafted and made it to the Pro Bowl.  One drafted in 2012 - Cox.  The other drafted in 2013 - Johnson.   (On IR is Brandon Graham - drafted in 2010.)  That's quite a history of bad drafting, you would think that might get the owner's attention.

Yeah, but I am defensive minded and Howie is horrid at defensive.  He is better at offense, let’s say just awful.

Well... if Howie is just a victim of those around him, that credit goes to Chip Kelly, doesn't it?   I mean, if Howie can't be held responsible for the bad, he can't take credit for the good either.

But, the number on the roster right now is the really important part... Cox, Johnson and Graham (IR).  A blind squirrel finds a nut more frequently than Howie finds a Pro Bowl player in the draft.   Sure, you can't expect it in the draft, as afan will always tell you... but SOMEBODY has to draft them... they show up every year.

Here's the list of Pro Bowlers taken since 2017... and Howie had a chance at 39 (those names in bold - the underlined are ones taken before the Eagles' first pick, * placed by those passed on by trading back from #32 in Round 1 to mid 2nd round), **next to the UDFAs.

Atlanta
New Orleans - Alvin Kamara (17), Marshon Lattimore (17), Deonte Harris (19)
Carolina - Christian McCaffrey (17)
Tampa - Chris Godwin (17)
NYG - Evan Engram (17), Saquon Barkley (18)
Washington - Chase Young (20)
Dallas - Leighton Vander Esch (18)
Chicago - Tarik Cohen (17), Eddie Jackson (17), Mitchell Trubisky (17)
Minnesota - Dalvin Cook (17), Justin Jefferson (20)
Green Bay - Aaron Jones (17), Jaire Alexander (18), Elgton Jenkins (19)
Detroit - Kenny Golladay (17), Frank Ragnow (18), TJ Hockenson (19)
San Fran - George Kittle (17), Fred Warner (18), Nick Bosa (19)
Arizona - Budda Baker (17), Kyler Murray (19)
LARams
Seattle - Shaquill Griffen (17), Michael Dickson (18), DK Metcalf (19)

Buffalo - Tre'Davious White (17), Josh Allen (18), Tremaine Edmunds (18)
New England - Jake Bailey (19)
NYJets - Jamal Adams (17)
Miami - Minkah Fitzpatrick (18)
Pittsburgh - James Conner (17), JuJu Smith-Shuster (17), TJ Watt (17)
Baltimore - Marlon Humphrey (17), Patrick Ricard (17)**, Lamar Jackson (18)*, Orlando Brown (18), Mark Andrews (18)
Cleveland - Myles Garrett (17), Denzel Ward (18), Nick Chubb (18)*
Cincinnati
Indy - Quenton Nelson (18), Darius Leonard (18)*
Houston - Deshaun Watson (17)
Jacksonville - DJ Chalk (18), Josh Allen (19)
Tennessee - AJ Brown (19)
Kansas City - Kareem Hunt (17), Patrick Mahomes (17), Mecole Hardman (19), Jack Fox (19)** (went for the Lions' as their punter)
Las Vegas - Josh Jacobs (19)
LAChargers - Derwin James (18), Younghoe Koo (17)**,
Denver - Bradley Chubb (18), Courtland Sutton (18)*, Phillip Lindsay (18)**

That's 61 Pro Bowlers from 2017 - 2020... and the Eagles got none.  Only 3 other teams failed to find 1... Atlanta, LARams and Cincinnati.

Eagles had a chance, without even trading up... to land more than half of them... and failed every time.

See the post I just put up... He's just bad at EVERYTHING draft related.  The only reason he's better offensively, than defensively, is that he's thrown more darts at the offense than the defense.

Oh i don’t disagree. I would argue since he’s come back in 2016 there’s a case to be made he’s become worse at drafting in the first three rounds. I’d also state he’s had the same type feuding reoccurring as he had at the end of Reid’s tenure and with chip.
