For some, the fact that we won a Superbowl under him will always give him a certain level of cache and support not matter what.

Then there's a segment that believes he's merely a front man for Lurie and is just doing what he is told.

And finally you have the blatant homers, who support him no matter what.

He's a hack.

So much Howie disrespect and blatant lies. He snagged a UDFA off the street that became a pro bowl talent and gets no credit

Caleb Williams benched for Oklahoma.

Idk i was more impressed with the selection of Clayton thorson and then cutting him in training camp.

Sorry.  He's outside the window.  He was signed in 2016.  :P

Andrew Berrys fault

Rattler should have never been benched

Jahan Dotson is the best WR I’ve seen at Penn St. He’s a better college player than Godwin and Engram. I think he’s even better than Allen Robinson.

Had he not been benched they would have lost badly to Texas.

Had he not been benched maybe they don’t lose today

Riely coaching scared

He's special for sure.  Great game today.

Rattler and Williams reminds of me Hurts and Tua. Both Rattler and Williams will be crap in the NFL.

Who is #17 for Penn St and is he eligible for the draft this year? Dude is a beast.

They would have definitely had a better chance. I’d assume Rattler is the QB going forward this season.

You could honestly justify Dillard, Sanders, and maybe even JJAW in that draft. The Miller and Thorson picks were egregious in a draft with 5 picks.

Howie’s also very impressive that in a draft that was chalk full of running backs wound up with donnell pumphrey. Meanwhile in a draft considered weak at RB we got sanders. Then add on in a deep corner class we wound up with Sidney jones and rasul Douglas. I also believe that shareef Miller draft was considered a good DL draft. We took JJAW and Miller.

Looks a little like Howie, doesn't he?

NCAA really needs to do away with the targeting call or at least change the consequences.  Disqualifying players is just silly and you can argue that 75% of targeting calls are such bang bang plays that they are nearly impossible to avoid.

The rule was put in with good intentions.  But, it hasn't been good.  It really should be left for the most egregious hits... not the ones that can't really be avoided, and since they review it before disqualifying the player, there is no reason not to be more discerning in terms of disqualifications.  The PF is what it is, but disqualifying players should be done with more consideration of the grey area that the defenders find themselves in so often.

At this point would USC even want James Franklin?

@LeanMeanGM

Eagles 16

Broncos 27

Hurts 96 yards passing

How fast can James Franklin be gone?
