As a preface, I watched a rugby game yesterday where contact to the head/neck area in the tackle is banned to stop head injuries/concussions from happening.  At times it seems soft to do it, but they want ensure players are in control and responsible when tackling.

 

Nice to see Smith make that grab, good for him.

Interesting that Siposs uses his a closed to open first to denote when he is ready for the snap.  Teams will be keying on that that.

Was a fantastic grab by Smith but also gotta give credit to Hurts for the toss. I like him taking those chances.

I think we all agree it's a stupid rule, but the players need to know to keep their mouths shut especially when standing over a player and getting in his face.  They are going to call it.

Best way to reduce concussions is to not let them play the game.  
 

I realize that sounds like a belligerent answer, but it is a contact sport.  You have to make changes to reduce concussions…up to a point…after a certain point, it’s not football.

I heard a few podcasts saying how great he's been this year.... Just don't see it, at least not great.  No where near as good at Patrick Robinson when he was playing the slot here and that's what I want in the slot.
