A miracle we made it through a game without a major injury.

Yeah, no serious injuries, amazing.

All in all a very nice game though I'm quite sure Atlanta will be one of the worst teams in the league this year.  Still an NFL team and the game was in their house.

Browns looking real good early

I watched that. He was crying leaving the field.  Sucks.   But we play them next week so…

They are stacked, so they should be good if the coaches are any good.

Denver up 3. Keep us alone in first Denver!

The key is that the things that were supposed to happen, happened.

 - OL / DL dominance.
 - Hurts' mobility was an important component of the offense.
 - Dynamic play from the young WRs.
 - The offensive scheme featured the run and got the ball to their playmakers.

Not really. He beat a bad team with short passes. That's what he does.

Perhaps Gannon is playing the long term game knowing that the Falcons were not going to be the strongest O the team were going to face, so a simpler scheme executed well going to be a good game plan to have. You can save the good stuff for the bigger games

Rodgers looking rusty after his hold out or whatever he was pulling.

Yep, all in all an excellent effort.

Tons of penalties which wasn't good but no turnovers to offset.  I'm happy.

When you are gaining yards at will w/o long developing deep pass plays there is no reason to take shots.  All you are doing is giving the defense a change to get momentum back with good coverage, a sack, or worse.

That is a td for browns

Hopefully, this pandemic ends so we can have Eagles fans taking over places again. That was always a good time.

Gints pull ahead

One big takeaway is the confirmation (for the 1000th time) that a good and healthy OL is key.  The lack of health of the OL last year was the single biggest factor in the crap season.

We probably dont give up 6 points if it wasnt for not playing in preseason. I mean we could have been better. If we werent worn out in the 3rd, who knows? I need all the preseason haters to eat crow.
