Hurts has four more starts than Lawrence. Lawrence totally sucked today.

Hurts is limited, but also special. The key is to figure out what he can and can't do.

Siri is finally figuring it out, what worked in preseason doesn't necessarily translate to when games count.

What matters is what works with Hurts.

This was a dominating win on the road against a good defensive team in a really tough stadium (5000' for one thing).

Half. He played like that for a half and then was back to himself when the d changed.

Easy there... he threw the ball 3 times.  They took the air out of the ball.  The D didn't change, the O did.

Slay, when asked why not fall on the ball:

"Hell no! I'm trying to score every time I touch the ball."

Shhhhh.  You don't want to go provoking 4for4 today.  He's admitted to being hard and possibly drunk.

Slay, on the return:

"I knew they had 13 personnel.  Nothing but fat guys out there."

You have a thing for me and I don't even know who you are. It's cute.

Don’t play dumb, we both know it’s because you called for Hurts to get injured back in the Tampa Bay game. You’re a bottom of barrel fan that I don’t like nor respect, and I enjoy seeing things not go your way.

He already ignored me man. It was all good until you quoted me. Now I have to be on edge.

Like that Auburn TD return off Bama's short FG in the Iron Bowl.  As I was watching Slay just slice through a bunch of orange jerseys that's what I thought of.

I've got no issues with the defense, and have had zero issues with the defense all year.  They are what they are.  They aren't that talented and the DC is learning the ropes a little about being a DC.  He's had some pretty good defensive performances for this year.  Granted, its been either feast or famine...

In 5 games: 6 points, 17 points, 18 points, 6 points and 13 points.   AVG: 12 ppg.
In 5 games: 41 points, 42 points, 28 points, 33 points and 27 points. AVG: 34.2 ppg

when Schwartz was here and his first year I brought up the stats where it when the Eagles played a good quarterback they tend to struggle (Matt Ryan was the big outlier that season). There were a couple outliers both directions in there but that’s mainly how it went. Feels very similar to their defense this year when they play so-so starting quarterbacks or bad starters they look good (Ryan— solid still, Jimmy G, darnold, bridgewater, Goff) when they played better quarterbacks they been famine (herbert, brady, dak, carr and mahomes).

They switched to zone from man. He went back to himself, the d and the run game kept him from having to do much. That is who he is. Up and down and sucks when it matters. This false hope BS against mid level teams only gives false hope.

man i thought our board was bad , bronco fans are wishing for coach vic to get covid or aids LOL

I don't deny that.  But, that's part of the process of learning as a DC.  And if he had better pieces to move around on the chess board, he might feel more confident to take more chances.  The book is far from written on him, and looking ahead... there are a lot more of the former than the latter in terms of QBs they are going to face.

DeVonta is already a better WR than Jeudy, even though JJ has a year in the NFL on him.

I love it.

Lol see this is what happens after beating so so teams that is going to keep them from making the significant changes that need to be made.

Eagles win next week vs Siemean, I think they got a legit chance at playoffs - which is kinda crazy. Easiest looking second half schedule I can remember in long time...

Idk pretty hilarious he thinks 4 more games played but doesn’t mention that hurts had an entire year in the nfl learning, training and studying at the nfl level. An entire offseason to train and work on what he knew he needed too at the nfl level. The fact he casually ignores that like he thinks it makes no difference is pretty amazing. Like having an entire year with your organization and learning at the NFL level in coaching at the NFL level matters. Like that’s not some small thing.

Hurts was great in the first half. Second half had his struggles but the defense picked up the offense especially with the fumble recovery.

The offense went to a heavy run emphasis, dude.  You are arguing nonsense to fit your narrative.  That's fine.  Enjoy it, but the stats don't back up your assertion.  First half they ran as many times as they had thrown it.  20 and 20.   They finished with 23 passes and 40 rushes.  So, it wasn't about the zone Defense, it was about playing to the situation of the game and the fact that they were gashing them in the running game consistently.

Sure.  But he mentioned the preseason... even though Hurts only played about 6 snaps in the preseason.

Sorry, but I like being humourous and having fun.  I don't keep track of who is pissing on whose daisies.

No harm meant.  He has been critical of Siri as a HC to date so I made a joke.  Siri outcoached Fangio today.  I say give him some slack on his leash as it can't be easy having Lowie as your boss.  Let's see how the season plays out, especially since Siri was expecting Wentz to be his QB when he took the job.  Looks like he's made some adjustments the past few games.  Let's see if he can continue doing that while getting the players to play for him.

Yep. 8 wins....maybe a curb stomp in the playoffs and oh they were so close. Just give it more time and keep letting Howie blow picks and bad contracts kicked down the line.

As a horticultural note... that's bad for the daisies.  Too much nitrogen will burn them out.

Oh I expect them down the stretch to play really well on defense partially due to that. I also think Gannon will get more confident and comfortable and so will whom he has on defense. It’s obvious the defense is missing pieces and they are very feast or famine depending on who’s at quarterback at the current moment.

No, even the commentators said they switched to zone. They didn't start the half running Hurts threw a pick and almost a 2nd. Then Slay ran one back and they went to run heavy O.
