Few observations:

Hurts is learning and improving.  Sirianni is learning Hurts.

Boobie goes down and Sirianni starts Scott.  Looking like a mistake to sit him.  Right now Scott is running better than Gainwell.  Still surprised on how little they pass to either.  Some of you owe Scott an apology.

Smith is the real deal but Reagor continues to not impress.  Sirianni should give Ward some of Reagor’s snaps so that Reagor wises up and takes his game to the next step.  After all, Ward is money on garbage time TDs

Stoll could block at Nebraska and that has carried over to the NFL.

Don’t be fooled by today’s defensive performance.  Bridgewater was off, partly from a small pocket as his OL performance today clearly showed they were missing three starters and don’t have the Eagles OL depth.

Really wonder if the Cox and Slay injuries weren’t as much for lack of oxygen as anything.

I am thinking the Eagles may have hit the lotto with Clay.

I agree. I didn’t think the defensive performance was all that impressive either. Got lucky on a TD called back on a hold that mean nothing on the play. Denver settled for FGs. We got a fluky fumble return for a TD. All against a meh QB playing behind a pretty bad OL group.

This list is bogus, because JJAW has recently been reclassified as a TE.

This is what they are doing against meh QBs this season.

Same as above.

I know Pro Football Focus is a bad phrase for some around here, but they made an interesting point before the draft:

”DeVonta Smith doesn’t have the weaknesses of a small receiver (not catching the ball in traffic / not being able to get off the line), so it doesn’t make sense to knock him as a "small receiver.”

You would think he would have been for goodness sake he was the owner pushing to get rid of the 1 helmet rule.  How he missed the deadline just makes no sense to me.

I hope Lurie chooses the white helmet no matter what uni color he goes with.7E390D32-8E2A-427C-AF93-85EF210930D1.jpeg.ff6915e1289e8a06ba65f0cf101f5785.jpeg

The defense is who they are at this point. They struggle against good quarterbacks and excel against below average ones. That won’t change until they address the unit in the off-season with the draft and FA. The good news is that Dak is the only above average QB they face the rest of the season.

We are average and only go as far as our DL pressure will take us.  We got some pressure, tackled pretty well, and were really good in the red zone.

We should have marginal success for the remainder of the season.  But we still need more young talent.

I don’t think they played all that well against SF. They were fortunate with dropped screens and Jimmy G missing open WRs in the intermediate area.

I heard that during the broadcast when he got hurt.  Was that just a mistake or are they really trying that move?

Also got a field goal block on a chip shot fg. That said kind of expect this the rest of the year as we really aren’t facing any juggernaut offenses or good QBs. Heineike, Daniel Jones, siemian, Zach Wilson/Mike white and possibly Dak depending on playoff seeding being wrapped up

Well it’s better than umbrella boy

Amazing that if the chiefs win tonight they’d be tied for first place with how out of sorts they’ve looked all year.

It’s not the same because he was obviously short and it took literally 5 seconds to review. And even if it’s one minute left in more than likely win it makes no sense if something else happens in that one minute that’s more challenge worthy. It’s not a big deal but it’s not some galaxy brain decision either. It was basically pointless.

You throw the challenge flag, you're calling a TO.  It's the same thing...you win the challenge you get the TO back.  You lose and you don't get to keep your TO.  Either way it stops the game and counts as a TO.

Siri ran the clock down to when you'd call a normal TO.  It was just before the 2 min warning when challenge flags are out the window.  Yes it was obviously short but he got the TO that was needed anyway and some extra time.  It's not rocket appliances.

Creed Humphrey for the chiefs is fun to watch. Love the name and he’s going to be really good

I think he’s a top 5 graded center already, plus Reid got a steal with Trey Smith in the 6th round.

Archuleta and Gumbel didn’t get much right today. I wouldn’t be surprised if they saw him and guessed TE.

Creed was a guy i really thought they might take. I like Dickerson but I’m still cautious about his injury past to make me feel comfortable taking him at 37. Imo i think he had more talented then creed. I’m happy if Dickerson can stay healthy but i would have been happy with creed there.

Yup... and the results were 17 points.

I think it was just a hilarious mistake.

They are boring to watch…

I took the TV off mute during halftime and left it that way until that moron Collingsworth went to far insulting the D on the TD instead of noticing and complimenting Carr for the should fake of throwing that held the DB. After the moronic show of Buck and Troy, Collingsworth is a close third in how worthless he is as an announcer.

Dickerson can probably play every position on the line, and it’s still not been a year since his ACl surgery.  If he can get through this season without any surgeries, I think next year we’ll get to see how good he can be.

I’m surprised he missed the deadline. The amount of eagles fans that would buy Kelly green jerseys would be through the roof. Anyone have the numbers on what the jersey sale numbers were in 2010 when we had the Kelly green for the first game of the season? I know the Easter egg blue and yellow authentic jerseys sell for ridiculous prices now cause of the scarcity to find them.

He didn’t miss the deadline. It was some weird reason like they submitted plans already and for whatever reason they can’t change it.

How so with Clay?

I was expecting Creed there.

I think that’s why the eagles valued him higher than creed is positional versatility. I still worry about him staying healthy for his career. Some guys get over it and stay healthy in the nfl. Some just have the unfortunate bad luck continue. He’s really not been a problem for me based off his play or talent.
