He didn’t miss the deadline. It was some weird reason like they submitted plans already and for whatever reason they can’t change it.

That’s dumb. The nba changed things all the time midseason. With the pandemic creating some revenue losses they should just be happy to do it.

I was expecting Creed there.

I really thought it was a very likely pick for the eagles. I loved reading the scouting reports on him and then watching some of the highlights

Chiefs should go for it.

nice grab

Creed was a guy i really thought they might take. I like Dickerson but I’m still cautious about his injury past to make me feel comfortable taking him at 37. Imo i think he had more talented then creed. I’m happy if Dickerson can stay healthy but i would have been happy with creed there.

I'd take Creed 10 out of 10 times.  He's both healthy and playing better than Dickerson.

Not to mention a name made for Philly lol

How so with Clay?

STs are playing smart and well

Apparently Hurts needs to run more than he already is

At least that's what I've been told.

Random observations…

* Now that we’ve put aside the stupidity of making Hurts and air raid QB, the offense is some rhythm and identity. We’re playing more to Hurts’ strengths and you can see tangible improvement from him now that the run game is shouldering the load. This really should have been the plan from the beginning. Our OL is built for this. Why the change? Why the initial philosophy of passing every play? I tend to think it was an organizational decision.

* The run defense wasn’t very good, but it’s a far cry from when we let teams do whatever they wanted on the ground. Edwards is limited, but he knows where to be, and makes a thud when he gets there. Taylor still gets lost, but he’s learning.

* Howard isn’t a flashy runner, but he gets going downhill quickly and picks up a little more than what’s blocked much of the time. Those yards add up.

* Hurts played like a franchise QB in the first half, although I thought he made poor choices on read-options too often. The second half he wasn’t asked to do much, but a near pick and a pick took some luster off his performance.

* Slay had two really bad tackle attempts on Williams today. Yup don’t expect him to stop him in the tracks, but he didn’t even slow him.

* The DL did a nice job of collapsing the pocket and making Bridgewater uncomfortable, but we couldn’t finish quality rushes. One sack and only three QB hits. Not good enough against that OL and that QB.

At least desean is hurt for the raiders tho…

Sirianni says some ridiculous crap.  City fumble vs country fumble?

If he wins, he’s an eccentric genius.  If he loses, something is wrong with this guy.

Ok I’ll never bring up my Desean in the HOF idea again

Few observations:

Hurts is learning and improving.  Sirianni is learning Hurts.

Boobie goes down and Sirianni starts Scott.  Looking like a mistake to sit him.  Right now Scott is running better than Gainwell.  Still surprised on how little they pass to either.  Some of you owe Scott an apology.

Smith is the real deal but Reagor continues to not impress.  Sirianni should give Ward some of Reagor’s snaps so that Reagor wises up and takes his game to the next step.  After all, Ward is money on garbage time TDs

Stoll could block at Nebraska and that has carried over to the NFL.

Don’t be fooled by today’s defensive performance.  Bridgewater was off, partly from a small pocket as his OL performance today clearly showed they were missing three starters and don’t have the Eagles OL depth.

Really wonder if the Cox and Slay injuries weren’t as much for lack of oxygen as anything.

I am thinking the Eagles may have hit the lotto with Clay.

I was thinking about this earlier.  I'd seriously consider limiting Reagor's snaps and giving more to Ward.

We all know Wards limitations but at least he can get you 4, 5 catches with 40 yards, a few 1st downs and maybe a TD.  Smith, Watkins and Ward seem to have some chemistry with Hurts where as Reagor has none.

Which may fly against borderline teams but will cause them to get throttled trying to keep up with a team like GB, Rams, even Dallas. They will shut the run down and make Hurts have to pass and he will get his ass handed to him. That's the problem with Hurts. When the run isn't there he can't shoulder the load consistently to keep up.

Literally every football team uses those terms

You may not know it, but the numbers represent how many receptions he has and the total net yards of said receptions.

So essentially, "God has a plan for me." Does God plan on teaching Reagor how to run routes?

I was expecting him to celebrate a TD and drop the ball at the 1 again... but what was that?!   Lol

Hell of a catch for Williams.

What? Nah man. Raiders have had some of the most entertaining games, almost every game gets wild.
