Plenty

The way it's looking right now is that our draft picks are slowly sliding down the order.  I think both Thibodeaux and Hutchinson will be gone before our 1st pick.  Hamilton as well.

I would also like 3 D players in the 1st Round.  DE and S being the biggest needs with CB and DT right behind.  Not sure there are any LBs that are worthy of a 1st Round pick, but 2nd or 3rd rounds if there's a good one hope they draft whoever it is.

I don't know how it's going to play out at this point.  I think there's a question about whether a team is going to go for a a QB in the top 5 to 10.  The Lions or Texans may pick a QB. Washington is going to be in the mix for QB at 10.  Safeties rarely go in the top 10.  I think Jamal Adams is the last in the last 10 years.  They are not often even first round picks.  So I think Hamilton is a player that the internet draft experts may be valuing higher than NFL teams.  Daniel Jeremiah, who is as well-connected as anyone, did not have Jaycee Horn in the top 10 picks last season.  He did his first mock in January.

Ojabo jumped off the screen watching the PSU game.  If they can get him in round 2 I would be ecstatic

Not likely

We currently are #11. 7-10 would be a higher winning percentage, so pushing us back somewhere in teens.

Nice, especially the Ojabo grab in R2.  I do wonder how much he benefits playing across from Hutchison though.  I personally in that scenario would try for a Myjai Sanders at 26, and try to grab Pickett or Ridder in R2.  I'm so hot/cold on Strong.

Yeah, I rarely ever look at draftee's ages.  When someone said 26 I was shocked.  Glad to hear it isn't true.  He's the 2nd best DT in the draft.

Well now I'm curious.  Seems like he's hiding his age still for some reason.  Could have said I was born in 2001 and squashed it.

When you bench Devonta Smith in fantasy money league because you think the Broncos D will shut him down...

Now I have to trust TE Tyler Higbee to get at least 42 yards tonight or score a TD.

The Eagles finishing 7-10 because Hurts is playing well, but the defense still is bad, is a very good outcome for this team moving forward.

Have that set to start ~40 seconds in. Someone asks him if that was the sharpest he's been this year and Hurts asks "is that what they're saying?"

I don't know if he was being a smart ass or genuinely does care what people are saying about him. Was kind of interesting to me.

I think he was being genuine.  I don't think he's worried about the outside criticism.  He doesn't seem defensive about it.

He should see additional targets with Woods out and OBJ only having a handful of plays.

Yes him, Henderson and Van should be beneficiaries of a few more targets each.

Now I'm just curious about Jordan Davis's age.  Ask any kid their age and most likely they tell you.  He didn't directly say his age in his twee and here's a response from his mom.  Just seems odd that direct answer hasn't been given.  This is from an ESPN article about him.

https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/32486465/the-legend-jordan-davis-growing-lead-georgia-bulldogs-football-promised-land

Davis played AAU ball, and his mother, Shay Allen, would sit in the stands and hear the other parents speculate.

"There's no way he's 15."

"Ask for a birth certificate."

Allen would calmly inform them she was his mother, and she knew exactly when she had given birth to him.

I think Ward is getting some snaps.

That’s not what I mean.  Reagor needs a partial benching.  He seems to believe his draft status too much and needs a reality check to work on his game like Watkins.  For example, when he had yet another failed run yesterday, Reagor chunked the ball in the direction of the OL.  May have been a frustration move or not.  Thought it might have been a penalty.  In contrast, Watkins is running good routes and adjusting when needed for his QB.  When he dropped that pass, he immediately turned to his QB with a chest thump to show it was his fault but if you watch, while the ball was in the air, Watkins adjusted his speed and burst to be open.   Reagor lost more yards than necessary on his play because he isn’t working.  Watkins missed and he took the blame and you could see on the sideline the regret he had for a missed opportunity.  Reagor needs a slap of reality and playing Ward in his place and making throws to Ward might just do the trick.

Ideally I'd like to see three of some combination of:

CB- Derek Stingley, LSU; Andrew Booth, Clemson; Kaiir Elam, Florida; Ahmad Gardner, Cincinatti

EDGE- Kayvon Thibodeaux, Oregon (pipe dream); Aidan Hutchison, Michigan; George Karlaftis, Purdue; Drake Jackson, USC; Myjai Sanders, Cincinnati

DT- DeMarvin Leal, Texas A&M; Jordan Davis, Georgia

S- Kyle Hamilton, Notre Dame; Jordan Battle, Alabama

LB- Nakobe Dean, Georgia; Devin Lloyd, Utah

Add Hill and Brisker to your Ss in place of Battle (third round S to me). Consider Joseph as a consolation price.   I am thinking Brisker is probably the Indy pick.   Would be thrilled with Hutchison and Leal with the first two picks.

He graduated from HS in 2018. He played his last game in 2017.  He was likely either born in either 99 or 00.  NC High School rules mean can't turn 19 before his last game.  The latest he could have been born would be November of 1998.  It's not a conspiracy.  People are just Fing morons on the internet.

Maybe if the wins are against the Saints, Jets and Cowboys.  If the team splits with either the Giants or WFT, it's going to be harder to end up with a top 10 pick.

Maybe - The reality is that Reagor can play outside and be a threat that Ward cannot be.  I thought he was frustrated with himself on the run than the o-line but I will go back and watch it. y.  It was odd to me that he just seemed to stop rather than beat the defender to the outside.  He had a nice catch on a comeback route where he ran hard and got to the ball.  He created some separation on it.  I think it's not mental as much as learning to play receiver.

Best part of the Lions tie is that same tie might keep the Steelers out of the playoffs

I prefer to think of it as maybe that Steelers tie is what keeps the Colts out of the playoffs!

Not that it matters much, but I was very frustrated with the CBS broadcast.

It seemed that they were trying to show as little of the game as possible.  Too many shots of coaches walking up and down the sideline and jamming pre-production segments in when a replay should have been shown (FG block).

I was particularly annoyed by the way they didn't even seem to notice that Goedert was speared in the head and only casually noted later on that he was out for the duration of the game. They never bothered to go back and show the hit.

Love this one, though I like Smith more than Dean, especially since I think the light has gone on for Davion Taylor.  And getting both safeties in the same draft! Awesome. If you could get Ojabo instead of Dean, I'd be content.

Too high for Carson Strong.  I’m out on him in the first two rounds.  Need to address DE sooner than 54.  Love Hamilton and Harris.  Also like Fields and Goodson later.

He could go higher. I think he's a better prospect than Love.
