Not a ton, but if it gets you cap relief to upgrade elsewhere, its a better plan than keeping them and waiting until they end up overpriced paper weights.

I don't think Lane goes anywhere. I'll take a 7th rd for Brooks just so he's off the team and we save whatever money

I think they would probably get a mid round pick with lane because I still think he’s at the age to give you 2 to 3 more highly productive years but he’s been injury prone the part couple years so it kills his value. You’re not getting anything for Brooks. That said I don’t think the Eagles would deal Lane cause they want to keep mailata at LT. I still think there’s at some point in time Stoutland is going to draft a right tackle to groom to eventually replace Lane. And keep mailata at left

The spread was -19 Ohio state. I also remember hearing that Michigan State has one of the worst pass defenses in the entire country. 

Jurkovec gets about .9 seconds to throw if he’s lucky.

I like the Maddox extension. I've always liked Maddox since they drafted him as a nickel/slot CB. Jim always put him in the wrong position at safety or outside. His spot in college where he had success was in the slot and now that hes been there only he has been solid. I'm excited to see what he brings over the next few years, as long as they keep him as a slot.

SF gave up 3 1st and change to go up from 12 to 3.

If a team falls in love with Pickett/Corall, we could get something similar.

Hopefully Fields continues to progress and when 2023 comes around Ohio St and Stroud won’t have the stigma that’s even worse than Alabama’s.  
 If McKee from Stanford stays healthy next season, he’s the likely top pick in 2023 because of his size, arm, and mobility.

Yes even more would be nice.  Want a startering defender though in return as we'd be giving up a starter with that top 10 pick.  Just draft picks would be disappointing in my opinion.  Dionte Johnson would be a nice option as well.

No QB comes out of that college and makes it in the NFL. Maybe one day BUT I dont want to be the test dummy. 

Seams like that is the same thing I said about Justin Fields last year when all the msg boards wanted to draft him.

I'm not saying he sucks or anything, he's ok. I just thought we could do better and I wasn't keen on that kind of money for him.

I talked to a guy at the gym a few months ago who told me he lives in Willingboro, New Jersey, which is where I grew up so I know it well. He told me that Goedert and Maddox lived in a townhouse right on the river there. I was stunned that anyone with any kind of financial resources would choose to live there but he seemed to know what he was talking about.

What's really sad is that Bobby Hoying is probably the best quarterback that school has produced in the last thirty years. Until Fields, that is.
